stackables Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I had to call this morning and unfortunately my order for the Tantive IV was already processed, so the nice customer service rep said that they would have to ship the freebies out separately. The freebies are suppose to pop up before you finalize your order. I never saw the option, so I would definitely check with CS. Quote

Regardless - another day, another LEGO purchase! Did it say you were eligible? I see what happened with my Tantive IV order... backordered items are not eligible. The Tantive IV went backordered at around 3:00am EST, so they technically don't "owe" us the freebies. So, for the Tantive IV: 12:00 - Available. 12:45 - Backorders accepted, will ship in 30 days. 12:50 - Back to "Available." 03:00 - Back to "Backorders accepted, will ship in 30 days." 08:55 - Backorders accepted, expected ship date 22 May 2011 Quote

Yep, TLG is know to have generally excellent customer service. I see what happened with my Tantive IV order... backordered items are not eligible. I received an email from Lego a few hours later stating they received my order and the ARF appeared on the invoice. A few hours ago I received another email stating my order was now back-ordered. Hoping they still ship out the ARF...I will probably call sometime today to verify with customer service and try and get the ARF shipped out separately. Also hoping my name still gets put into the drawing for the UCS Falcon. Quote

Interesting...I purchased mine during the window when it was available after being listed as backordered, and I received the normal email saying thanks for the order, listed items purchased, including the Shadow ARF, and no mention of any backordered anything. Well I didn't get around to calling customer service yet but Lego emailed me again this time stating my ARF had shipped on its own. Bad Dad Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 No such luck for me- Lego shop at Home for UK orders ran out of Figures before lunchtime today.Despite getting the money for my order through the sales person only revealed the lack of figures offered me a choice of any key ring- I told her that I wouldn't have bothered if I knew this- really annoying and frankly mean. So to be clear, in summary- No More Shadow ARF to orders made after midday today. Quote
