Masked Builder Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Oh, okay. Doesn't that count as a "Shadows Bloodbath" game, not a mafia? I don't know I'll have to look. If it does I guess I'll join the next Mafia School game. You should be able to be in a first-timer mafia school game since Shadows's bloodbaths don't count. Okay then! Hinckley Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I don't know I'll have to look. If it does I guess I'll join the next Mafia School game. But I just told you the answer. And not all mafia school games will be only first timers. Some will be mixed.
Sandy Posted April 4, 2011 Author Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks for the compliments, guys! You make me want to host yet another game, no matter how arduous hosting really is. Secondly I would like to compliment Sandy on this amazing game she hosted. It was amazing! And I would like to thank you for letting me be your intern. It gave me a good idea of what it means to host a real mafia game. Thanks a bunch! Thanks for showing an interest towards my game! Sorry I couldn't involve you more as an intern, but it's nice to hear you felt you learned something nevertheless. No I was in the PoP Theme Game month one. The theme month games do not count as Mafia games, since they're just mindless massacres, not the real deal. You still need to participate in a Mafia School game (and pass) before you are allowed to sign into a more advanced game.

dr jones Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Oh, right. How could you forget the last stand of the illustrious Haitian Dreo Jacmel?
Brickdoctor Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 How could you forget the last stand of the illustrious Haitian Dreo Jacmel? Don't know. Maybe I'm going insane. Seeing Sea Monsters can do that to you. Luckily I have my Face-eating Seagulls to protect me, otherwise I'm liable to end up in an Asylum...

badboytje88 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks for showing an interest towards my game! Sorry I couldn't involve you more as an intern, but it's nice to hear you felt you learned something nevertheless. Well I wouldn't know how you could have involved me more... So you did great, I couldn't have hoped for anything more than what you gave me right now. I'm looking forward to hosting my own game,in about a year or so, but first I'll need some more experience. (and mod approval of course )
Pandora Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I tried adding some mock rap/hip hop slang to my day thread posts to reflect my taste in music I had to google "Worthing" to find out where you were supposed to be from, and was surprised to find the only result was for the UK. I have to admit, every time you said something like "no diggety" I did laugh a little, and I'm very grateful you didn't go down the "corblimeyluvaduckapplesandpearscockneygeezer" road, although I'm sure you would have made that equally amusing! Word.
smittyfan Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 How could you forget the last stand of the illustrious Haitian Dreo Jacmel? Now you finally remember your place as Haitan and not Jamaican!
dr jones Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Now you finally remember your place as Haitan and not Jamaican! I've come to terms with my bad, failed side... This will be the day you will always remember as the day Captain Dreo Jacmel admitted his weak Haitian side!
smittyfan Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I've come to terms with my bad, failed side... This will be the day you will always remember as the day Captain Dreo Jacmel admitted his weak Haitian side! LOL!!! ironically I just saw all 3 Pirates movies this weekend for the first time... and, This is the day you will always remember Siegmund Freibrg.. Siegmund Freiburg – Town You have come to Paradisa Holiday Romance Resort to seek true love, harmony and relaxation. You originate from Germany, where you spend your days fiddling with computers and model trains. You are an authentic nerd, but that doesn’t prevent you from dreaming about finding that special someone to share your nerdiness with. You are an innocent member of the Town. You have no night actions to use during the night phase. On a day phase, you can vote people you think belong to the Mafia. It was quite interesting how Brickdoctor and I hit it off romantically from the start. Probably the hardest part for me was to kinda think like a guy since I've always been the girliest of girls. The nerd part wasn't too hard because I have a sort nerd side. I figured my name was pretty easy to figure out where i was from, that and also some people still seem to have a bit of a thing against Germany, due to it's ugly past of Hitler and the Holocaust. On the positive side, it's where Martin Luther came from, and partially why I enjoyed the whole 'placid martyr' thing...

I actually quite enjoyed the roleplaying bit of the game, and I wish I could've developed poor little Claudia's personality more.

Well I just threw the question out there if anyone was free for dinner, and you were the first responder. Other than the power role, I would've loved to have your character! I'm considered a nerdy guy, and I got a girl role!
smittyfan Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Other than the power role, I would've loved to have your character! I'm considered a nerdy guy, and I got a girl role! Oh well, maybe next time!
Dan the Brickman Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Well that was cool. Hahaha, I was right about the sea monster after all! I am glad we had a "school" game to go through. It helped with understanding how to play when you have never done this before. Thanks for all your hard work Sandy, and good job with the set designs. Until next time my fellow townies and scumbags, WATCH OUT FOR SEA MONSTERS!!!!
Tamamono Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Until next time my fellow townies and scumbags, WATCH OUT FOR SEA MONSTERS!!!! I'm surprised that Sandy added that in; nice use of the HP Basilisk! BTW Dan, who's idea was it to kill me?
Nakara Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Interesting Mafia School game Sandy! The sets and storyline were brilliant, it was such a drag that I didn't join at first . I'll make sure I don't miss the next one. Congratulations to the passed students and the winners! I haven't read many mafia games here, but this is the first time I've seen a town victory? I wonder what the next one will be about... Also: ...they all swore to spend their future holidays in some crowded and noisy tourist attraction... Oblivious fools, there'd be so many people that it'd be impossible to keep track of innonence and guilt. Some mafia member could even do a day-kill and it'd be so crowded nobody would no know who it was.
dr jones Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I'm surprised that Sandy added that in; nice use of the HP Basilisk! BTW Dan, who's idea was it to kill me? Make an educated guess...
Masked Builder Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I didn't notice if you had to survive to graduate. I'm glad you don't because I would never make it past the first night!
Brickdoctor Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I didn't notice if you had to survive to graduate. I'm glad you don't because I would never make it past the first night! I think that's what we all think. It certainly was what I thought.
Sandy Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 I didn't notice if you had to survive to graduate. I'm glad you don't because I would never make it past the first night! That would've been too unfair in my opinion. There have been games where only one player has survived in the end, after all. As comments to this topic are waning, I want to throw some mood pictures from Isla Paradisa (used in the "brochure" in the sign-up topic) as a dessert of sorts. Enjoy!
