Solscud007 Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I was thinking of making a pop gun for my Joker using the classics Lego Storm trooper gun but then thought of plugging in this grappling hook attachment and making a grappling gun for bats. Then I thought "hey why not put the batarang in the grapple's grip?" And I thought of this scene from Tim Burton's Batman Movie. "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Sometimes it's the simplest MOC which impress the most and three parts to make something that Batman would have at his disposal.....great work and remember.....Go with smile ! Bat-brick On 'Solscud007' ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 That's a pretty neat brickbuilt bat-a-rang-grappling gun Solscud, it really well captures the shape of the one in the reference image. And it even has a built-in megaphone function too! Quote
Miss Kyle Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Awesome, I like it very much! Simple, but so effective! Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 8, 2011 Author Posted April 8, 2011 I decided to try and shoot the Movie scene. Quote
Pellaeon Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I decided to try and shoot the Movie scene. *snip* Awesome, I love it! Too bad the claw piece doesn't come in gold... I'll have to dig out a megaphone and see how it looks with the metallic silver claw. Quote
blhc11 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I prefer my more comic-y approach to the grappling gun, I just use a revolver and add a 1x1 cilinder piece to it's bottom, batman olds it by the gunbarrel, it reminds me of hush. this, though is impressive, simple and easy, I might use it if I make MOCs inspired in the 89 or 92 movies.
