Fugazi Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Well without tearing anything apart, I would like to check the floor of the kitchen and living room for possible trap doors, including under the couch, refrigerator and oven. When I'm finished, I would like to browse through the crossword puzzle magazines for unusual notes or scribblings. I would like to ask Ralph if both he and Valerie were doing crossword puzzles, or only one of them. Finally, I would also like to ask Ralph whether the lawn gnome might have been holding a fishing pole.
Peanuts Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I'm finished here, but what about upstairs? I'd like to move upstairs and get a description of the second floor.

There's no apparent trap doors anywhere in the kitchen or living room, including the refrigerator, oven, and couch. There's no unusual notes or scribblings inside. "Only Valerie did the crosswords, and I believe it might have been holding a fishing pole, come to think of it." Ralph says. I'm finished here, but what about upstairs? I'd like to move upstairs and get a description of the second floor. Check Page Nine.
Peanuts Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Check Page Nine. Sorry. Re-reading thoroughly every post, it appears that nobody searched inside the bathroom so far. I'd like to have a description of everything in the bathroom. I'm quite disappointed with what we yielded searching Valerie's house, seems like she was really good at her job.
Fugazi Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I'm quite disappointed with what we yielded searching Valerie's house, seems like she was really good at her job. Yeah. I suppose that once you're done with the bathroom we can move on to somewhere more exciting -- no offense intended, Ralph!
def Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Is it possible that Valerie did her pinko business somewhere other than her house, in order to be less conspicuous? I'd like to ask Ralph if there were any particular places spent a lot of time at, other than at home.
Lord Arjay Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hmm, we don't appear to have got any further forward by searching this house. Though we did learn that Ralph owns some knives, so he is obviously a communist. () Anyway, once Krista's searched the bathroom, I suggest we should move onto Chief Phelps residence. Perhaps he wasn't as good at hiding any incriminating evidence.

I'd like to have a description of everything in the bathroom. I'm quite disappointed with what we yielded searching Valerie's house, seems like she was really good at her job. There's a toilet, a bathtub, and a sink and medicine cabinet. Is it possible that Valerie did her pinko business somewhere other than her house, in order to be less conspicuous? I'd like to ask Ralph if there were any particular places spent a lot of time at, other than at home. "Not that I can recall...we usually stayed at home for the most part."
CMP Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I'd like to open the medicine cabinet, the...block thingy of the toilet, the bathtub, and it and the sink's drain, spigot, and bowl.
Bob Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 I'd like to open the medicine cabinet, the...block thingy of the toilet, the bathtub, and it and the sink's drain, spigot, and bowl. The medicine cabinet is filled with a great deal of prescription pill bottles. There's nothing suspicious anywhere in the toilet. The bathtub is normal as well as the sink.
iamded Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Is it at all possible to check each of the bottles, and make sure what's on the label is inside? Why so many meds, Ralph?
Sisco Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Why so many meds, Ralph? Valerie wasn't well into her sixties or anything. Seriously, I'm an old fart, and she was an old fart. Besides that, there's a few for pain since I fell in the cafe in the hotel.
CMP Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Is it at all possible to check each of the bottles, and make sure what's on the label is inside? I'd like to do just that, along with check the back of the cabinet for secret compartments or otherwise.
Professor Flitwick Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I'd like to read all of the medicine bottles, and know their purposes. I'd also like to look inside each of the bottles.
Brickdoctor Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Since Stevie apparently didn't join us in the bathroom, I would like to poke all the walls for him. I'd like to know if there is a cabinet and/or drawer beneath the sink, and if so, I'd like to open it and know what's inside.
The Legonater Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Since Stevie apparently didn't join us in the bathroom, I would like to poke all the walls for him. I'd like to move in and do my job myself. Just cause you didn't do your job for a few days doesn't mean you can now steal mine.
Brickdoctor Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I'd like to move in and do my job myself. Be my guest.
Bob Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 Is it at all possible to check each of the bottles, and make sure what's on the label is inside? Why so many meds, Ralph? Yes, you could. However, unless you're either a drug addict or a medical professional, there's no way to determine this. I'd like to do just that, along with check the back of the cabinet for secret compartments or otherwise. There's no secret compartments behind there. I'd like to read all of the medicine bottles, and know their purposes. I'd also like to look inside each of the bottles. There's medication for heart and liver problems, as well as a few for other various reasons. There's pills in each one. Since Stevie apparently didn't join us in the bathroom, I would like to poke all the walls for him. I'd like to know if there is a cabinet and/or drawer beneath the sink, and if so, I'd like to open it and know what's inside. There is a cabinet under the sink, but there's only some pipes and a few paper towels in there. I'd like to move in and do my job myself. Just cause you didn't do your job for a few days doesn't mean you can now steal mine. Stevie taps those walls, revealing...nothing.
Brickdoctor Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 How are the paper towels stored? At the risk of covering the bathroom in paper, I'd like to flatten them out looking for messages or objects hidden inside.
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Does anyone remember seein' a tiny fishin' pole anywhere? Maybe it was used to pass messages... I'd like to try to recall if any other homes we've searched have had gnomes on the lawn.

There's medication for heart and liver problems, as well as a few for other various reasons. There's pills in each one. There we go, just making sure there weren't any notes or anything concealed in the bottles.
Bob Posted April 13, 2011 Author Posted April 13, 2011 How are the paper towels stored? At the risk of covering the bathroom in paper, I'd like to flatten them out looking for messages or objects hidden inside. They're in packaging. Inspector Liebenston rolls the paper towels over the floor, but there's no messages on them. Does anyone remember seein' a tiny fishin' pole anywhere? Maybe it was used to pass messages... I'd like to try to recall if any other homes we've searched have had gnomes on the lawn. The other houses searched did not have a lawn gnome.
Sisco Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Let's smash the gnome, see what's inside. That'll be $300, I got that gnome in Paris.
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 That'll be $300, I got that gnome in Paris. That's a strange souvenir. Did you guys collect gnomes?
