I'm three for three so far, and I really do appreciate it.

Yup, congratulations on making the Brother Brick and Brick Town Talk frontpages as well :] Thoroughly deserved!

That is simply a stunning pair of buildings you've built there! The design of it all, the details and all that. Well, wow! No to mention that it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb when connected to other modular buildings, but rather fits in instead, while looking pretty distinctive, tells how well designed it is.

To sum it up, that is a most excellent MOC you've come up with there. Very, very nice.

Thank you for sharing!

Awesome  Everything is in the same great style.

The projector house and the curtains around the screen are very nice, just as the windows in the roof, and everything else.

This MOC has an excellent sense of realism. Well done.

That indeed was the only possibility I could think of. You really made efficient use of the interior space. :classic:

Thanks! This is the first build that I actually planned the interiors at the same time as the facade rather than trying to cram interiors into an empty box later (with mixed results). Here are a few new photos I just took that show the bathrooms better on the ground floor and the hallway on the second.

Thank you! I'll admit that I completely missed the obvious Star Wars reference in the naming of my buildings until I saw the Brothers Brick headline, despite originally planning to put a Darth Vader minifig at the top of the second floor landing...

Absolutely amazing creation sonicstarlight! Every bit of detail is excellently done from the overall futuristic look, to the effective use of curved slopes, the smooth surface finish, and intricate details both on the external design and the interiors. Simply a magnificent work of art!

I don't think that there's much left to say, all the other members have excellently highlighted the fantastic details. This is truly an amazing creation sonicstarlight, well done! :sweet:

Your buildings look so beautiful next to the official sets.

This is a superb MOC in every way. The exterior design is fantastic and the interior is even better. I do hope that the folks at TLG see this and decide to bring to market as a "Factory" set some time in the future....

Even thought Market Street is the red-headed stepchild of the modular line, I really liked it as a more entry level set (until prices skyrocketed). In fact, anytime Lego issues a survey I always say that I wish they would do another Factory modular. As much as I would love for this to be turned into such a set, I don't think it is appropriate - partially because the theater uses a few "illegal" techniques that I don't think you could diagram well or replicate in LDD, but mostly because it would cost as much as the rest of the Factory line combined

Still, if you're reading this Jamie Berard, I willing to take the next flight out and help make this happen

You have my respect  , its a really nice work. You have caught the feeling of these american buildings  , one of the best, that i ever seen.

The movie theater is just epic in design and execution, the ability to fit so much detail into such a small space is really well done.

That's all VERY nice! But my favourite part has got to be that diner!

Thank you for the compliments! I actually started a digital model in SR3D at the request of another member of the boards, but I got distracted with my next MOCs (which I am very close to finishing up) and kind of stopped after creating the diner. The tap pieces weren't working right so the lights on the front facade aren't on, and the pipe on the roof it too tall, but otherwise it is done.

After my next MOCs are in the books, I actually want to start making instructions for some of my buildings, starting first with this and then my MMV inspired build. I really need to lay off the real bricks and work more in the virtual realm, for the sake of my wallet. It will probably still be quite a while before I have anything worth sharing, so please be patient. :classic:
