rgbrown Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Open up the Building steps page of the LEGO Club website and click on "Test Case" (has a picture of a guitar) and lo and behold: an 8070 alternate with instructions! Presumably they'll put the picture and description up soon, but in the meantime it's hiding away there. Quote
chaosof99 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Wow, that makes me wonder whether or not someone could build Kaneda's bike as an alt for the 8070. Quote
DLuders Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Nice find! Over on TechnicBRICKS, Conchas provided the direct link to the Lego Club's PDF Building Instructions for this custom chopper bike. The file is 2.2 MB and 25 pages. Quote
Meatman Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 lol. I don't think the 8070 is worth tearing apart to build that. Quote
Enilder Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 lol. I don't think the 8070 is worth tearing apart to build that. My thoughts. Quote
hga09 Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 If you change the seat configuration, it looks more like a Vespa than a chopper... Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Very cool! Maybe you can build 2 of it with one of the 8070's. Quote
Brix Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Wow, that makes me wonder whether or not someone could build Kaneda's bike as an alt for the 8070. I was starting to think that I was the only one who thought of Akira when I first saw that pic on TechnicBricks. Everyone else was talking about scooters. :) Quote
