The translation of the train station phrases are not quite obvious, since we often use other catchwords for them (see below).

  • Castle Station (it's a train station)
    The word "Castle has two different meanings in german.
    If it's a noble residence, it is called "Schloss", but if it is a stronghold, the german name is "Burg".
    Actually, I don't know any trainstation with either of the expressions, however we have some bus stops,
    and tram stations called "Schloss Strünkede", or "An der Burgruine" (at the castle ruin).
    Therefore, I would propose to use a name for the castle in combination with one of the two expressions.
    ("Burg <name>", or "Schloss <name>)
  • Harbour Station (it's a train station)
    I would suggest "Hafen". (The train station of our harbour in Hamburg is called "Landungsbrücken" -> gangplanks.)
  • Airport Station (it's a train station)
    In Germany we use the term Flughafen combined with the city. e.g. "Flughafen Düsseldorf", or "Köln/Bonn Flughafen",
    but I think you may just use "Flughafen".
  • Town Hall -> Rathaus
  • City Council -> Stadtrat
  • "Knight (name) founder of Falcon City" (this is for a plaque under a statue)
    -> "Ritter (name), Gründer von Falkenstadt"

In Switzerland: Bus stops next to a castle are often just called 'Schloss' - the 'Haltstelle' (Stop) is omitted.

Train stations tend to be 'Burgdorf Bahnhoff' where Burgdorf is the name of the town, which happens to be dominated by a massive castle. A large trainstation in a city will always be 'Hauptbahnhoff'

Greyers castle - is just called 'Greyers'.

Even in the UK you dont find 'Castle Station' - but 'Castle Cary' has a station... Same with Corfe Castle, where the station name is just that of the town. I guess the reason being that there are not many train stations next to the same castle.

Well, for the train stations I would say:

Castle station - Burgbahnhof or Schlossbahnhof (That doesn't exist in real life, does it?)

Harbour station - Hafenbahnhof <city name>

Airport station - Flughafenbahnhof <city name>, Bahnhof <city name> Flughafen.

Train station means "Bahnhof" in German.

Good luck with your stickers!
