Tiananmen Gate is one of the famous buildings of Beijing and China,

This is one of the topic I want to build it.

Last year, I had built a Chinese style buildings, Wong Tai Sin Temple, Hong Kong.

during this job I grasped the technology in bricking the Chinese building pattern and the shape

Also, mix with my Eastern style roof-top bricking way (use the 2x? plate and some 1x1 and 1x2 common plate to brick the roof)

So, this time is a examation for me to buildng a famous place in China(that"s my country).

Thanks for your watching first.

That is truly impressive! I'm in love with your lion statues. The use of plates on the roof adds a unique touch to your building that would be difficult to find somewhere else in the Lego world. Great Job and thanks for sharing!

Extremely well done. :classic:

What incredible architecture!

The entire model is stunning but what impressed me most was the design of the decorations just below the roof line!

Job well done, you deserve all the praise you are getting!

The sheer size of this is awe-inspiring - and still you have taken the time to add an incredible number of small details. I don my hat to you, Sir!

Hi, was actually seeking for details from the Hall of Complete Harmony to try to build this building in digital lego,

and after that decide to build in real bricks or not.

Then I discovered your building of TianAnMen, wonderfull to see tiose details!

Is there any chance to get some more details of your building?

I would rebuild this digital with MLCad and build in real bricks.

Whoa, so awesome! I love it, especially the stone lions. Any chance you could share some of the building techniques for classic Chinese architecture with us here?

The little Toys R Us truck is cute, I was at one today here in Beijing with my boy, we got the new little Creator eagle set.

Thanks, Joe
