DoubleT Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Hi Here are some new pictures taken from ShopAtHome. With some greater Detail..... See next post...
sam89 Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Thanks for the pictures. It looks like a very coool set, although I'm not sure if I'll get it with all the other stuff I want next year.
Jipay Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Same problem, I want a lot of things but I don't know if i'll be able to afford everything :(
jonfett Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 The new city sets are awesome, these look really good. But, what is up with the studs on the baseplates? and does anybody else think the arm with the torch in looks longer??? Jon.
Vader Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 It looks longer to me like the nba ones were *sick*
Precious Jazz Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Thanks for the pics Double T! This is no doubt the best police station Lego has released in a long time! But with all the new Star Wars sets comming out I probally won't be able to afford it. :(

Women definitly never knows what they want ;)
Orlego Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Thanks for the pics DoubleT! I can't wait for us to get the police items in. We now have the BNSF train (that I have been waiting on forever), but I really want the police sets. *satis*. My only complaint for 05 is more regular ties *devil* ;)
dyip_90 Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Heh, you're complaining against the ties when i'm trying to buy more...
Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I just got the police prison van, bike and car and i goota say there great anyone getting these are going to be pleased the van is my fav *wub*
Orlego Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I just got the police prison van, bike and car and i goota say there great anyone getting these are going to be pleased the van is my fav *wub* I really want that van, or a couple vans. *wub* ;) dyip_90 I like the regular ties but Lego could make a different set. They just keep re-releasing the regular tie and call it a new set. Sure they may put it in a large set, or add a light-up Vader, or put it in a new box, or add a brick or two, but the fact remains that they keep giving us the same thing. I would not complain if they at least used other colors such as dark grey and black. After a while you get tired of seeing the same set over and over again. If you are new to the SW Lego scene, you won't care. I have been collecting since 1999 and own every set, pen, shirt, whatever that has the SW Lego name attached to it. After all the 04 re-release sets, I just want to see something new. BTW... The Tie Collection is the worst selling SW Lego set yet.
jonfett Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I have been collecting since 1999 and own every set, pen, shirt, whatever that has the SW Lego name attached to it. But.. do you have the postcards?? :P BTW... The Tie Collection is the worst selling SW Lego set yet. Is this official? I would not be suprised if it is.. I would guess that most fans who have been collecting SW lego would not want to spend all that money for 1 new ship and some re-re-released ones. (I know I would not! ;)) Jon.
Vader Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Plus as its a shop at home item kids dont get to see it on toy shop shelves.
jonfett Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Kids would probably find it boring anyway, I mean 4 very similar ships are not really exciting unless you have some opposing ships as well. :/ Well, thats how I thought when I was younger. Jon.

Damn you and your postcards!!! Send me some? :-D Please? :D ;) I can't say my statement is official, but they are selling very, very slooooooowly in the Lego retail stores. They are our worst selling SW set. I think alot of kids already have all the ties and don't want to spend $70 just to get a droid tie. And parents will not spend that type of money just to get one ship. I did purchase this set recently because I got it at 50% off, other than that, I would not have paid full retail.
