Ceroknight Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Hello, like I mentioned to Solscud007, I made a mech for Darth Vader This is the 3rd version: Arms are raised, I thought the previous one looked awkward with the arms lower than the cockpit... Darth Vader comes to test his mech, which has been guarded by Snowtroopers Top: Back: Weapons hasn't been changed, Right Arm is still a blade: Left Arm is a shield plus blaster: No changes in the Lower Body: Cockpit: Inside Cockpit: Vader couldn't actually fit in the previous ones, only the torso up did, but I modified it so he could C&C please! Thanks, Ceroknight Edited May 6, 2011 by ceroknight Quote
Solscud007 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 it reminds me of a walker how Darth Vader is exposed sitting on top like that. I like the red light saber feel but think it needs to be more practical. I like the tie advanced style wing shields. Quote

Solscud007 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Sorry I misread your description. I thought the trans red cylinders was the lightsaber. But after second glance I see the actul light saber blade. If the trans red cylinders were to be the light saber, the cutting edge is blocked by the wing/shield. Quote

Solscud007 Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Yeah sort of like that gundam strike. Also I would make the suggestion of using the boat smooth curved circles to cover up the shoulders. Then it would smooth out the design of the shoulder piece. Quote

Solscud007 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 WOW what a difference!!! I like it!!! Now this looks like it is going to give those pesky rebels a tough time haha. Quote
gogocar Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Awesome job, ceroknight. The shields give it a Tie-Fighter like look. Quote
L-space Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Looks menacing. But why the shield and blaster in one hand. Now you can't hide and shoot at the same time? Quote
Ceroknight Posted May 11, 2011 Author Posted May 11, 2011 Looks menacing. But why the shield and blaster in one hand. Now you can't hide and shoot at the same time? Why would it need to hide if, like you said, it's "menacing"? Nah, it is possible for a shield to be held in the same arm as a blaster, especially if it's a robot. Think of the shield as part of the mech while the blaster is separate Quote
