Posted April 23, 201113 yr So I had taken parts of my POTC set to embellish and outfit my Musketeer. I gave him the sword holder. I then thought that Jack's face would be suitable for the Musketeer and the Musketeer's face suits Jack. Of course ignore the fact that his chest is bare and not yellow haha
April 23, 201113 yr Good experiment. Actually it doesn't look as bad as I thought. The flesh on his chest is quite dark and therefore matches quite well with a yellow head. Still, it would have been nice to have his torso in normal yellow too. Thanks for sharing.
April 23, 201113 yr Sometime in the past, on Eurobricks, I've seen a post about making fleshies like normal LEGO with some kind of a yellow marker. The effects were outstanding, and this could resolve the torso problem. Still, nice try! The heads suits quite well, even more than Johnny Thunder's one I thought about!
April 23, 201113 yr It can be strange, but I like this yellow face much more, than the flesh-coloured face.

April 24, 201113 yr Gotta love Captain Jack in classic yellow! I wish fleshy didn't exist. Well done!
April 24, 201113 yr I wish fleshy didn't exist. Ya I totally agree theres not much flesh heads that acctualy look good nowa days. Nice idea! Captain Jack looks better this way!
April 24, 201113 yr Author I prefer the flashy faces of the SW Original trilogy characters more than the old yellow faces. But I think this works out well for those who want a yellow faced Captain Jack to fit into their classic pirates theme. Im surprised NO ONE has even noticed Jack's pants. Those are not his pants. They are Dastan's from Prince of Persia. They fit in with Jack's eclectic ensemble.
April 25, 201113 yr I LOVE the idea of Johnny Depp as a musketeer! however... I didn't like the yellowfaced Jack...
April 26, 201113 yr Today I've put my hands on the Captain's Cabin. Most of the useful parts (globe, bottles, sword holder) landed on the deck of my flagship. I decided to add Jack to the crew (who wouldn't), but as a fleshie hater I had to use my idea with Johnny Thunder's face first. So, here are the results (yeah, I've got all of the old pirates): Personally, I'm satisfied with the results. The face expression suits Jack nicely, and he does not stand out from the whole crew. Plus, this face is more classic than the musketeer one, and for me it is quite important (in general I prefer Pirates pre-2000). Edited April 26, 201113 yr by Squarepants
