Squarepants Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) Hi! I proudly present the first part of a small comic, featuring the beloved Classic Pirates. Are the old minifigs from the previous century gonna find their place along the new pirates and POTC? Is Ironhook an enemy or friend? What happened to the BSB? And who drank the whole rum?! The first part is the beginning, it introduces the whole idea and features a small island built especially for this project. The creation of next parts is totally dependant on the feedback, so take your time to leave a comment if you wish. P.S.1 - Sorry for the awful speech bubbles, dunno how to make better ones P.S.2 - "Detaile", "Parte" and such are not mistakes, just thought they may suit pirate-ish language of some sort. Captain Blackmoor Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I think you have done a marvellous job despite the text bubbles. Play a bit around with MS Paint for example, and you will see! Quote
captain crossbricks Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Nice comic so far i cant wait to see the rest of it. Sigh if only i had some of those old pirate sets. Though the text bubbles could have used a little more work, but hey! Atleast we can read it. Nice work! Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Very nice comic. I'm looking forward to more soon. If you like creating comics you might explore a program called comic life. I use it for my comics. It works well and is very easy to use. Quote
Brig. Brick Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 great, I want to see more Very nice comic. I'm looking forward to more soon. If you like creating comics you might explore a program called comic life. I use it for my comics. It works well and is very easy to use. Hey... usefull Quote
Tazmaniac Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Comic Life is the best!!! Great start but it would pay to take a little more time with your photos some are quite blurry and detract from your story. @ Hornbricker isn't "Comic life" only on Mac? Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 @ Hornbricker isn't "Comic life" only on Mac? Nope. You can get it for MAC or Windows. I use a Comic Life Deluxe Edition Windows version. I think they might have a specific "special" version available only for MAC. Quote
Bart Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I'm tempted to hit the 'like' button but there isn't any on the forum so I'll just post 'I like it' :) Bart Quote
