RileyC Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 FabuMilfs? Have fun guys I hope you learn something under the great Hinckley. Not sure why some experienced players are signing up though... Shouldnt you wait for Quarry's game? Try not to get the applesauce everywhere! I can already see where this game is going...
Brickdoctor Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Have fun guys I hope you learn something under the great Hinckley. Not sure why some experienced players are signing up though... Shouldnt you wait for Quarry's game? Like Sandy said, since both are open to the veteran players, signing up for both doubles our chances of playing.Though for myself personally, I wasn't happy with my first Mafia School performance, and I want to have another go at the School games.
Baylego Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Yes! I have been waiting eagerly to play in another mafia game. 1) I do not have any travel plans between now and June. If something comes up though, I will always have internet access because of smartphones. 2) Yes, I have participated in the Mafia School: Escape from Isla Paradisa. 3) Definitely monkey.
Scouty Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 One life of cute furry animal killing was enough for me, so I think I'll sit this one back ! I do look forward to following the game, though !
MacK Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) After reading through Isla Paradisa, I'd be a fool not to want to join a Maifa School game . 1) I won't be travelling anytime soon. 2) I have yet to particapate in any Mafia game. 3) My favorite animal "meows", but monkeys are a close second. Shouldnt you wait for Quarry's game? Yea, but on the chance I don't get into that one, I like to think I've doubled my chances of getting into another mafia.
Waterbrick Down Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Well, I've been observing the most recent games of late and thought I'd throw my hat into the ring for this one. 1. No big vacations or long travels planned. Moving in 3 weeks and a few day/weekend trips sprinkled in there also, but I should hopefully always have access to internet. On a side note as far as time commitments, next week will be most of my final exams for the semester, but after that I'll have a bunch of free time, so as long as the game starts towards the end of next week I'll be fine. 2. I have played mafia before, but never over the internet. 3. My favorite animal would have to be a caracal or cheetah (closest Fabuland figure would be the brown cat), if birds were to be included then I would chose an American kestrel. I'll be looking forward to watching the game develop from either on the inside or on the sidelines.
Scorpiox Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Please indicate if you will be traveling. Thank you. Oh sorry I forgot to answer that one. I don't think I'll be traveling before then, apart from a few day trips.
Pandora Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Another Fabuland mafia! Absolutely adorable! It's just so..irresistible; I have no choice. So to answer your questions: 1. Some plans, I'm afraid: 3rd to 5th June to Windsor for the EB event - potentially questionable internet connectivity (countryside), and depends on 'phone signal/ truth about hotel wi-fi but only for a couple of days, and may not be a problem. 11th to 24th June to the good ole US of A; will be in NYC until the 14th so I doubt internet connectivity will be a problem, however it's a long flight from London to NY and the cabin crew get a bit uppity about using mobile phones on planes for some reason.... 2. Errrm, yes. Isla Paradisa Mafia School. And it didn't end well for me... 3. In Fabuland? Well it has to be the panda Preferrably Perry panda, rather than Peter panda (I know you know the difference, and yes I could have alliterated that better), with a close second being the adorable rabbit(s), naturally. Although, who doesn't love a monkey? Otherwise? Dogs, definitely, I have always adored dogs. A close second would be lions, but I wouldn't really want to keep one as a pet. I was half expecting to have to write a dissertation on some of the more esoteric points of the English language I'm almost disapointed
Ro87n Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 [~] You applied in the right format! Yay! Now, please don't abbreviate words like you are texting. Since we are a multinational site with multilingual members, please be as clear as possible with spelling and grammar. Thank you so much. Sorry this was the first and will be the last time I used an abbreviate word. So it should be: My favorite animal would be a black rabbit or a pig. Unedit edit: to be honest I'd like most of the Fabuland animals; they all look so awesome and remind me of my younger years. I'd used to have some, but I don't know where they are at the moment.
Donut Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 I'd like to give this a try. 1. I will not be traveling during that time frame. 2. I have played the card version with friends. 3. My favorite animals are seal and sea lions, and my favorite Fabuland figure is the raccoon.
Nakara Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Oh, crap, I must amend my post. I have checked my schedule and I will be away somewhere during the week of May 30th, where I will have dubious internet, and through June 1-3 I will probably be EXTREMELY busy with little time for other things.
sok117 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Can I sign up for this? 1. I'm gone for may long weekend but might have access to a computer in the hotel 2. I've played in four mafias, but I really need more practice as you probably know after my performance in werewolf mafia 3. Fabuland wise, the alligator/crocodile, other then that, it would be a T-rex (there extinct, sue me), or a taun-taun
Capt.JohnPaul Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 1. I don't plan on traveling, period. 2. I have been in a bloodbath and Eurodina, but didn't have any night actions 3. My favorite animal is the blood thirsty dromeaosaurus camel. I hope I get picked and learn how to use night actions!
Gregorovich Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Where? I can't wait for this! Even if I'm not chosen, I'm interested in finding out the story of this Mafia game.
Peanuts Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I can't wait for this! Even if I'm not chosen, I'm interested in finding out the story of this Mafia game. I guess it's based on the comic with the same name...somehow
Gregorovich Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I guess it's based on the comic with the same name...somehow I'd never heard of a comic about Fabuland Housewives. I'll not look into it though, so it doesn't spoil it (even though I'm sure there's a completely different story).
MetroiD Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 And to think he's a Speling Professorr... That must be some intriguing new subject, right? Where? Here? They might have moved to Pluto, especially now that it's no longer a planet...

Not the best thing to say to butter-up the host of the game you hope to be picked for, given that Hinckley wrote it.... If you'd like to have a look, and then post how brilliant you think it is, here's a link.

I've only watched episode one so far, but I'm sure I'll be watching some more. The MOC's in it are actually very good, and the story's really funny! Thanks again for the link.

That was a good 4 hours worth of reading. Good to see where Hinckley's driving insanity originated.
dr jones Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I'd love to join! 1. Nothing that I know of 2. The previous school 3. Bats, don't ask why
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Cool! 1. No 2. Never played a Mafia game. 3. Doctor Dog. He looks exactly like my lazy dog.
