Looking great, would a hinge plate in the corners work.

You need more players, 5 per side on the rink at a time and up to 22 per side in the dug out :-)

Yes there are twelve players on the ice at a time (5 on each side plus two goalies). I am currently waiting on a Bricklink shipment of parts for more players. Thanks for noticing that though!

Thanks! Yes this will hopefully soon have an arena and more players. It looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Don't forget the TV crew videoing the match and the medic's on stand-by.....I believe it's quite a bloody sport !

Thanks all of you! I have started designing the area and crowd. However it will be a long time until they are ready, those darned Bricklink orders really take a toll on one's budget. Also, which do you guys think would look better; an arena with a roof or without a roof?

I would probably go with a roof which could be easily removed if one wants to look at the details of the interior.

I'd go without a roof.

With the size of the rink, the roof would be massive and it would be better as you would be able to see the details better

I have to agree with him. While it would look more complete and realistic, because all hockey rinks have roofs. But, that would clearly hide the main focus of the MOC. This is a very accurate MOC, well done. Are you going to put in penalty boxes and the teams boxes too?

I was leaning towards no roof and I think that is the best choice, it also saves money. Yes I have a plan drawn out that includes the team boxes, but no penally boxes because they will not fit.
