Lord Of The Fries Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) My entry for the Character Rides contest: Dutch Kennedy has his own personal speeder bike for quick transport around the battlefield. His speeder is a G-41 type made by Kuat System Engineerings. It is equipped with two short-range laser cannons, a triple class engine and dual homing beacons. XimenaPaulina Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Nice entry LoTF! An unusual design for a speeder bike, but still interestingly looks good. Good luck in the contest! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Great speeder design reminds me a little of the Rebel speeder of 2008 BP - the basic body shape that is ! Simple, yet effective and colours give it a CW feel to it ! Good luck 'Lord of The Fries' and may the brick be with you ! Quote
Pilotdude Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I never thought using that many "roof" peices on a speeder it could still look cool but this one does, i also like the way you used the saber blade for the engine, it looks really good, good luck. Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 Thanks everyone I thought it looked a bit bad but thanks to your comments I now have more confidence By the way may the brick be with you too lightningtiger! Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Very nice. Im glad it has a different departure from most speeder bikes. I like the seat back 2x2 tile and the side engines look great. edit: After closer look, I really like the clever use of the 2x2 hinged plate for the controls and as a secure mount for Dutch Kennedy's feet!!! Very nice. Edited May 1, 2011 by Solscud007 Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 (edited) If you are talking about those grey things with that light blue stud in the middle, those aren't engines they are laser cannons. The blue lightsaber beam at the back is the engine. Good guess anyway Edited May 3, 2011 by Lord Of The Fries Quote
Praiter Yed Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I like the simplistic look and the fact that it could almost slot into the category of personal vehicle. Is this the missing link between speeder bike and landspeeder? Quote

Is this the missing link between speeder bike and landspeeder? Hmmmmm..... never thought about this speeder being the missing link. I'm not the best builder but it could be the one . Ps. Everyone keep a look out for my next entry in the spaceship category Edited May 3, 2011 by Lord Of The Fries Quote
