An actual person in unlicensed sereis? It’s hard fo me to see that way. We have spac fan from Series 20 and she has a rocket model that has NASA logo on it. But an actual (aka fleshie) figure is just… odd for the all-yellow, non-licensed CMF Series.

And no, TLM2 Series is not exactly unlicensed even tho it had 4 Wizard of Oz characters.

I wonder what will happen in 2025 since the third series of 2024 could be licensed. I would love to see new themed series like Space CmF, such as:

1.). Castle Series

2.) Western Series

3) Pirates Series

4.) Adventurers Series

5.) Rock Raiders / Power Miners Series

6.) Monster Fighters Series (or Monsers Series 2?)

7.) Another Costume Series! I’m not kidding, becuase I’m not tired of costumes lol.

8.) Underwater Series (such as Aquazone, Atlantis,  etc).

We really don’t need City-themed series since, well…., there are so many City-styled minifigures.

Well when the space series was first rumoured I was very happy because the next logical series (well not next series, but like, one normal, one unlicensed, one licensed) would then be castle. But now seeing that the space cmf is "just" part of a theme that spans through several themes, it seems less likely to me that we will get a castle CMF - at least I don´t think we will get a castle theme in city next year ;).

However Lego might still make a castle cmf, if the space one is a success.

My initial speculation was that the "Space" series was a codename for something licensed, but I take that back now that I see how many different themes are sharing a space subtheme. Assuming the series includes a Classic Space recolor, what color does everyone think it might be? I'm tempted to say gold, but I wonder if they might be saving that for 2028, so my next guess is 107 Bright Bluish Green. What others would you like to see?

But if this series is going to be like an homage or celebration of the Space theme and include characters from several factions why didnt they just call it Series 26? It would be just like "Series 14: Monsters"

I just find it odd

Because it's more likely a special series and a numbered series are on the shelves at the same time, where a series 26 would have stores replace series 25 probably.

And this space thing is a cross-theme going on, so it's happening more because of that, and not purely just within CMF like those monsters were.

LEGO Movie or Ninjago series were not called Series 20 or 16 either, and those had more LEGO products across multiple themes as well.

I would love to see a dark blue Classic Spacemen - but could aswell just be the official version of the purple one.

The september CMF has to be Fortnite. When you look at the amount of skins revelead in the game with incredible detailing and lots of new moulds, it's almost clear it has to be a CMF. I just wonder how many figures it would contain because a dozen is clearly not enough. I think we could get a 20 minifigures in 2024 and another 20 in September 2025. (Or maybe even 24 but I'm not sure if it's not too much).

William Shakespeare

Abraham Lincoln

Both are traditional yellow, btw.

Any new color is welcome for me, but I would eventually like to see bright light blue to complete the Everyone is Awesome set!

If the Space theme includes tributes to any of the early 90s Space themes (M:Tron, Space Police 2, Blacktron 2, Ice Planet) then "shut up and take my money". (Ice Planet in particular is my favorite LEGO theme of all time)

And while they surely are the role models for them, they are not included as those - same as red sonja in this series.

And we had Hollywood stir in older CMF series - she resembled Marilyn Monroe.

I agree. Given the tsunami of "Space" cross-branded sets across other themes, It seems very likely that the upcoming 'Space' CMF series is not a code-name (unless it refers to s Space-themed licensed series - e.g. Star Wars?).

Given 2024 seems to have been become the "Year of Space", I'm very curious as to whether there will be other cross-branded sets grouped around other classic themes in future years (e.g. Castle in 2025?) and if so, whether that will be supported by a specific themed CMF series.

I continue to believe that this a very logical direction for Lego to pursue, especially if they remain committed to the idea of pure blind-bag CMFs (i.e. they don't add identification to the boxes).

I know very little about Fortnite or its characters, but the character design in the announced skins pack look really impressive. Strong Vidyo-vibes, with some interesting thematic similarities to some existing Lego/CMF themes e.g. Castle, Monsters etc. A Fortnight CMF series could result in a number of new, interesting moulds e.g. a new visored Barbuta style knights helmet.

Agreed

Now that you mention it, perhaps the female genie was a nod to I Dream of Jeannie.

Actually yes, they are literally called Abraham Lincoln and William Shakespeare.

I would not mind that personally, though wasn't there a rumor that Sep 2024's CMF would be series 26?

Honestly, I hope it's Series 26 since it would be interesting to see what new costume figures could come out

Well it is based on her, but it is not her. And it isn´t that surprising they choose to give her more clothing, is it?

Not that i know of but since Series 25 and Space Sereis are both non-licensed series in 2024 - I am not sure about three non-licensed series in a row in 2024.

I rarely collect minifigures from licensed series, such as DC Comic, Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, Muppet, and Looney Tunes. I am only intererested in seeing Looney Tunes and Muppet Series 2. Regardless what I just said, I really don’t mind Seires 26!

Yeah, it was said it will be Series 26 I think but no reliable leaker/source has confirmed it yet. Well know for sure in a couple of month with the Toy Fairs at the beggining of the year

Which would be great because Series 25 is...... no it, to say it kindly

I suspect so - we had Monster Series aka Series 14.

Ever since they cut down the number of CMF in a series to 12 from 18, it really felt lacking and I do think Lego ought to just two CMF series in a year.
