LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

We all like different things so even if they do come out with an F1 series it's not the end of the world. It isn't something I would buy so that would be one less series I personally would be spending money on.  Just like I have zero interest in The Simpsons.  It's great that they try to come up with series that will appeal to a niche group.  Same with a lot of the Ideas sets that appeal to fans of specific sitcoms.  To me they can be great parts packs if a decent price reduction occurs but they aren't something I would buy to display.  We don't all have to like or buy everything they put out.

Are we reall sure it’s just speculate rather than rumor about F1 Series that is ful of driers? For me, i don’t believe it would be a bunch of drivers. 

Whoever claimed that, I won’t look into it too much…. No list of names or a leaked / blurry pic yet.

Still hope F1 is not "the main" cmf series and will be an exclusive (to eu for example) or something like that (so it won't eat a slot of a more interesting line). We all know what it will be without reveals even - just a bunch of normal people in official sports suits.

What else would you include with the drivers? Mechanics, tire-changers and managers?

Wouldn't an F1 CMF potentially be a lot more headache than a singular brand CMF in terms of IP/ licenses?

I would imagine they do this way instead of bunch of driers…

The good thing for me is, whether it is an actual licensed F1 Set with Drivers, or an unlicensed Racing- CMF I don´t think I would need any minifigure of either of them.

I feel it is the same answer as before. This might not appeal to a wider audience other than City and F1/racing fans.

Hmm, I´d rather say that F1 Drivers would mainly appeal to F1 fans, while an unlicensed Version would appeal to Lego Fans. Now sure there are fans of both, but I don´t think a unlicensed Series would appeal much to F1 fans and a licensed to City fans. 

Of course, there are always certain figures and parts that will appeal to more people. Like people that don´t care that much about F1 could still want to get a driver from their country, or people not interested in a racing series could want to get an octan men.

All in all, it is hard to tell how well received such a series would be but overall I would bet that a Castle or the D&D series would/will be better received. Would say Pirates and Space should be doing better too, but could aswell be wrong here. In the end they will not just throw something at the market without any indication that it would do well.

Omg i need this. We had years since the last unique lego zombie. And the only driver zombie we got was that old fashioned one from Monster Fighters...

Honestly i would rather have a CMF line of zombies that represents different city stuff

I just realize that 2025 will be 15h annivesary for CMF itself.

Personally I don’t think it’s a big deal to do something speical about it. Maybe one celebratory minfigure? Just like a Green Brick Costume Guy with a 2x2 tile that reads “10”. I hope it’s not another Brick Costume this time.

Not gonna happen… I mean, I don’t think it’s a big deal to do 15th annivesary for CMF. I think one minifigure that will celebrate CMF annivesary.  I just an’t see why they should costume series.

I didn‘t even think of a broader F1 tie-in series with mechanics, pit stop helpers, audience members, mascots and the like, rather than a licensed one with specific pilots! That idea sounds a lot more interesting than 12 generic-looking dudes without any accessories

This would also make more sense for the initiative on the whole. Just like this year‘s overarching space theme, which could‘ve had a NASA license but didn‘t, it seems more appropriate not to pursue an F1 license

they've done a single celebratory minifigure in an otherwise normal CMF before

Very unlikely they make that, at least in the same way as they did with Mr. Gold as that resulted in to many ripped packages. They could make it as a normal figure but then no idea how many people would want that - personally I wouldn´t be interested honestly.

I like that idea! I don’t know how likely it is tho - we had Mr. Gold in Series 10 yet it was not 5th anniveary until 2015. I could see why they did Mr. Gold for Seris 10 as a speical extra minifigure. A female version of Mr. Gold does sound cool to me, anyways! There are numerous of female and male counterparts like lifeguards, figure skaters, genies, nutcracker & sugar fairy, Cyclopes, roots, cave people, etc.
