Since Boogeyman will be featured in Series 27, i kinda wish tht we will get another spooky series like Series 14

I know the history of the Boogeyman and so as much as it is a "horror theme" fig, I think it deserves its own subcategory. If Lego were to continue this line, I would like to see them make minifigs for characters like Krampus, Oni, etc.

It’s not always about monsters. Since we will get Cupid figure, I’m hoping we will get Angel Costue Girl to pair up with Little Cute Devil, with new printing for trick-or-treat bag and Skeleton Guy! And i want to see Headless Horseman with a jack-o-lantern.

Great suggestions!!!

I really want Cupid to be Roman mythology-themed!

But I like the suggestion for good characters in Halloween costume, as well as other classic halloween characters.

I think they will go the more valentines like cupid route but it would be nice if Cupid was more like Roman mythology.

One way or another, Cupid might still have angelic appearance, i gues? But Greco-Roman love deity would be great for sure. We hae Poseidon/Neptune annd  Athena/Minerva so far.

I would love a Headless Horseman Minifig but I guess I'll need to make my own.  I doubt they would ever put a full size horse in a CMF.  I need to look through my minifigs to see if I might have suitable parts to make one.  I know I have plenty of the Jack-o-lantern pumpkin head since I just pick some more up from the BAM tower today.  And I know I have some Black Horses from my old Castle sets.

I think the most compelling point in favor of Roman god vs. modern commercialism appearance is that the version of Cupid most often show in current valentines merchandise looks like a cherub with a diaper. And, personally, if I were a Lego designer I wouldn’t want to open the can of worms that putting out an adult diaper piece would create - most AFOLs who really want it are going to do questionable things with it. A classic Roman toga is a whole lot safer, and would probably have a lot more people buying multiples for historical builds.

No thanks, all the themed series really are subpar to me, unless we get a animal one, Castle etc they are basically useless to me. Much better with a normal series with something for everyone..

It would be very funny if Headless Horseman comes with a black foal instead of full-grown horse.pretty ‘menacing’ lol.

Is it strange that Cupid has its own name rather than Love Deity like Battle Goddess for Athena/Minerva an Ocean King for Poseidon/Neptune. Maybe we cold get Valentines angel then. Santa Claus say hello.

Santa, Medusa, Mr Gold, Orion, Cupid and Bogeyman are the only CMF who have been given proper names (I think)

Minotaur too

Interesting point about being named Cupid... makes me worry about the fig being given a modern treatment, and not mythological.

What was Lego's rationale as to why the other mythology figures were not properly named? Because it invokes 'religion'? Or did a company have some sort of patent on the names?

We don’t know yet if these are official names though, do we?

Correct. Plush Toy minifigure is said to be a plush toy collector rather than a human-sized plush toy itself. So - some names migh be misled.

I can’t wait to see a new plush mold!

That's correct.

Maybe this might end up being a case of another Greek Queen (BAM) but actually just a 'green queen'. LOL

Yeah I’m sure they’re all translated into English too, so …

As BrickClicker said that “Plush Toy” should be a plush toy collector, it makes me wish a minifigure-size plush toy… i also wish that we have a proper snowman minifigure, not like one in snowman from Series 23 in 2022. Or an actual Easter bunny instead of a bunny costume guy from older series.

I'm not saying they would put a diaper on him.  There are iterations without the diaper.

Yeah, and the versions without the diaper lean more towards the Roman god depiction by putting him in a toga or similar don’t they?

What if it’s a typo and it’s not a Bogeyman, but a Boogie-man? 🕺🏿

If so, it better come with a sound chip playing K.C. and the Sunshine Band's 'Boogie man', and / or the Bee Gee's 'Stayin' Alive'. (It's too bad minifigs can't really disco that well, though.)

They are sadly deficiently supple for busting moves

Do we know how the D&D series is selling?

I couldnt help but notice there are less reviews than usual. Even some regular LEGO reviewers on YouTube didnt review it (yet)

:look:
