Honestly can't complain with that as long as we get something new for the mandatory costume figures instead of just another animal Quote

They might just go back to giving us vaguely phallic shaped fruits and vegetables. Quote

I'm surprised they haven't done a bottle suit costume yet.Ideally green like a beer bottle, but probably more likely red for a ketchup bottle. Quote

Lion King Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 I dont mind for castle/pirate/adventurer-theemd CMF series like Seires 26. However, that we have Wolfpack beastmaster nd quartermaster in Series 27, castle and pirate series are ruled out. Quote

Especially since if the rumours are true there will be a series in between still. Quote

I know you said “if” but it’s always fun to see more hemmed non-licensed series like Halloween, birthday party 1 and 2, space. I’m also up for animal costumes or ever minifigure with animal in single series. So i don’t see why not. Quote
Pop Star c o Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 They just listed 71049 on Brickmerge and it says the highest piece count is 29, so it's just further comfirmation it's going to be little buildable cars. Quote

Ruled out for Series 28, yes, but we already knew that the series after S27 would be the little Drome racers. . . things. Pirates and Castle are still on the table for future years’ themed CMF series. 12 hours ago, Pop Star c o said: They just listed 71049 on Brickmerge and it says the highest piece count is 29, so it's just further comfirmation it's going to be little buildable cars. At least this means that we are actually getting some pieces in these sets - I had worried that they would be closer to the Xalax racers’ three-piece cars. Still not Minifigs, unless there are a torso and legs included that the leaker could not see, but there might actually be a reason to buy a couple of these sets. Quote

Those are still going to be really small builds - for $5, you could also just get the 30683 polybag, which has 58 pieces - literally twice as many parts! Sure, the "CMF" will almost definitely have printing instead of stickers, and they could maybe do something interesting with the helmet builds, but I'm still not feeling a single shred of excitement towards these. Lion King Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 If F1 series will be CMF series, i wonder if they will make blind box a bit bigger for that piece count? Quote
hikouki Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Really trying to wrap my head around the fact that these are going to be collectible minifigures, but with no minifigures??? Quote

The closest thing I could think of to this, was the Unikitty series. How was that received? I haven't gotten back to collecting Lego when that was released. Quote

That suggests that none of the Unikitty products sold particularly well. Quote
DarrellBricker Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Not to mention that the Unikitty series wasn't in place of the regular CMF series that year, if memory serves. They're taking up a valuable CMF slot with a series that *seems* to have no actual "MFs" and I think that this is very disappointing and a wrong direction to head in, personally. Quote
williejm Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 I’m still not convinced that they are subbing this F1 series into CMF, it seems like such a stretch, from what we know just now … Quote

I have said it multiple times already and I will only start beliving it is a cmf when there is no other series in that time range. Quote
karrit Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Ditto! These are not CMF's in any way shape or form. Only possible explanation if they do consider them as CMF's is they wanted a cushion to assess how the use of the cardboard packaging is working whether positively or negatively for the CMF's. Personally, now that we can scan the codes I think the cardboard boxes are working great! If they change that many won't be pleased. Quote

Karalora Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Maybe it's being called a CMF line because it's being handled by the same division? Because of the small blind-box packages? Quote

Bandmates were not considered CMFs, and the boxes for these things will be larger than CMF boxes (since there is no way to cram almost thirty parts into a box of that size!). 🫤 3 hours ago, karrit said: Only possible explanation if they do consider them as CMF's is they wanted a cushion to assess how the use of the cardboard packaging is working whether positively or negatively for the CMF's. I doubt that they need a break to figure out if boxes are working, given how quickly the scannable codes were implemented. Quote

Yeah, but in production timeline they may have been considering it. I just hope they stick with the codes. Quote
Lion King Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Are there series there are not really part of CMF have similar set numbers in the past? Quote
