Blackpool Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I wonder if they keep using yellow because its so synonymous with the Lego brand? Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 It's yellow but this shade of yellow. Quote
Robert8 Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 So, it seems it will be the same yellow they used in CMF Series 12 Quote
BrickJagger Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 Apparently the only two colors Lego is allowed to use are yellow and blue...... Quote
Bricknblue Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 I frankly don't understand this. It's a 25% higher price. I won't buy as many as before. There have always been three sets released a year in the USA, but when the price went to $3.99 (Which I know is cheaper than Euro.) I REALLY cut back. I went from buying full sets, even 30-40 at times with many duplicates. Then the price increase happened and the sales stopped happening and I have a lot less now and no complete series after 11 besides Disney. Quote
Robert8 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 What color does the Ninjago CMF Series have? Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 What color does the Ninjago CMF Series have? If I had to guess, dark red. I'd be happy to have red again (cause it's the best color ever!) Quote
Robert8 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 If I had to guess, dark red. I'd be happy to have red again (cause it's the best color ever!) Isn't that series in the catalog? But dark red is a good guess. Quote
Bricknblue Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Why is everyone so crazy about the color of the bags? Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 They do not say anything for Ninjago but the fact that it's scheduled for september. No mention on how many minifigis, nor the color. This will be in the Retailer Catalog for 2017 2HY Quote
Pop Star c o Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I have seen pictures of the catalog. THREE seies confermed for 2017 Batman in January, 20 minifigs per serie Series 17, COLOR IS YELLOW AGAIN Ninjago Movie Serie. Please note NEW EUROPEAN PRICE = 3,99€ even for normal serie. I frankly don't understand this. It's a 25% higher price. I won't buy as many as before. 2017 is year of shits! Quote
BrickFit26 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I enjoy the different colors of the bags. We also haven't seen brown. Quote
WerferOfFlammen Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I'd personally be super hyped for a entire series of classic late 90's/early 2000's figures. Like classic castle, space, western, and so on. Just take one or two figures from each and re-imagine them. Price increase seems inevitable but I didn't expect it so soon. Kind of puts a damper on things since I like to buy extras for parts. Quote

Robert8 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) It's the IGN interview It's here in this thread In this interesting interview, Tara Wike, LEGO design manager for the Minifigures series, answers a few question about the CMF theme When she was asked about a "throwback" CMF series, she said "never say never" Edited September 14, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
BrickJagger Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Hm. "Never say never" isn't exactly what I was hoping for, but I think they would strongly consider a throwback series to cap off the CMF line. Speaking of that, does anyone think CMFs will ever be discontinued? I think they're due for a format change, especially since "Series 17" isn't an attractive marketing phrase. Quote
Robert8 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Speaking of that, does anyone think CMFs will ever be discontinued? Never The CMF theme will outlast us Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Maybe series 17 is a throwback series of series 1 (⊙_⊙) After all, the color is yellow... Quote
Robert8 Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 If that's the case I think the catalog would say it Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Maybe series 17 is a throwback series of series 1 (⊙_⊙) After all, the color is yellow... 16 brand-new never before seen figures! Edited September 14, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
