Now we think that when we bann somebody it's not for him to create a new account the day after. Because you know what ? We know he did... So if you find csdb a little bit hasrh... you know why he is... Just look at the two ips

Jipay Posted December 20, 2004 Author Posted December 20, 2004 The IP is banned now... In fact he used different IPs (different places he is connecting from). So I had to cross over all the different IPs used by those two people (which turned out to be the same). Now the IP he was mainly using is banned. I prefer banning IPs otherwise it will be like on fbtb, a troll appearing again and again... (luckly enough we are better admins :-D )

Try not to attack us unless you know everything that's going on (which I guarantee no one here does). On other thing... I am certainly a guest here, and I know it's not my place to make such a request. But I would appreciate it if y'all would try and tone down the FBTB slams. I promise with all my heart that FBTB veterans don't diss Eurobricks vets. So try and return the favor, okay? We don't hate y'all, so don't hate us. :)

ApophisV Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Cello, as I have often said here in many threads, even if we criticize FBTB it doesn't mean that there is any "fight" between the two communities. (Just like the same about TLC: AFOLs complain about things like color changes, but nonetheless they are still addicted to Lego) In general I really like FBTB (in fact it was the first internet community I ever joined), nonetheless are there things handled (or are going on ) in a way that could / should be changed in my opinion. So why not talking about those problems we see? Okay, sometimes comments about FBTB were harsh (*cough* David * cough*) and I'm sorry about those, I think it is possible to complain in a friendly way from now on.... :P ;) So enjoy your stay here, maybe some of our opinions will inspire people to see things from different points of view! :)

Sorry Cello, my comment was not posted in an attempt to attack you or any other person from FBTB. I have an utmost respect for your site and every other fan based site (Lego or not). I myself came here from FBTB and I still visit FBTB everyday. The only problem that I have is FBTB helped to fuel my Lego spending spree over the last few years. ;) What I was trying to state in my post "I would hate to see us go the way of the FBTB forums" is I would hate to see someone who may be mad *cough**David**cough* try to take out our forum. Hence the "We all know the problems Ace is trying to clean up now" statement. To you and everyone that is new here from FBTB... Welcome! We are glad you are here and are more than happy to help you and your team communicate with your community once again.
