Bob Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 The townspeople woke up the next morning to find everyone from their group still alive, no one had been killed during the night. The sound of a small water craft approached. The townspeople feared the worst, seeing a military patrol boat come speeding towards them... "Hello!" The Congressman says. It's only the Congressman! He comes aboard. "I am pleased to tell you that General Stanley has been arrested." he says. The townspeople looked around. If they had killed all the communists, what was to be done now? Fugazi Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Welcome back Congressman! Are the commies really all dead? I though I heard someone say last night that evil was still among us. I would like to suggest returning to the shore on the patrol boat, a few of us at a time if necessary.
Sisco Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Woah there Alan; this could be a trap. Stanley had the Congressman on his leash, remember? I don't think we've gotten rid of all the communists, either.
CorneliusMurdock Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Well, at least we know we're all alive. Where do we go from here?
Peanuts Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I don't think we've got rid of every communist, I mean, we've only two people who are confirmed communists, and two more whose allegiance we don't know. Garrison had killed Maxwell, so at least one of them is no communist. That makes at most three communists we have possibly gotten, and I would assume there's more than three communists. So we should count with at least one or two, maybe even three or four commies left. No deaths tonight, that's good. It means Jenkins has kept his promise and hasn't killed. I just wonder, can he even still kill? Hasn't Liebenston stolen his gun? And the commies either have no more killer, or there was a protection/blocking/investigation-blocking. I wonder who Dolores and James targetted this time? And was Dolores able to use her night action this time? And I'm uncertain if we should go back. On the one hand we could go on investigating, but it might be a trap as well. And why did we kill Garrison? I thought we were going to lock him up?
Admiral Ron Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 So there are still commies here I assume.... we must weed them out then.
CorneliusMurdock Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 If anyone is interested, I blocked Krista last night but was told she had no plans to do anythin'. So once again I couldn't have blocked the commie killer.
Shadows Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Having had time to think quietly amidst all this action, and I do apologize for my lack of apparent participation, but I am now absolutely certain that Matt Liebenston, our useless HUAC Investigator, is useless for a reason. We've been duped into thinking that he can't be a communist, but I am certain he is and would like to request that we take any possible actions to deal with that problem immediately. I know I've been quiet, which is all the more reason for you to take this seriously, I wouldn't risk being so open and direct if I wasn't absolutely certain. And now, I have more thinking to do. Based on current projected thought scheduling, I'll see you again in a few chapters little while.
Peanuts Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 If anyone is interested, I blocked Krista last night but was told she had no plans to do anythin'. So once again I couldn't have blocked the commie killer. Me? I really thought there were bigger suspects than me. Good to hear from you and good you have a suspect you are perfectly sure about, but what makes you believe that? Just to follow your thoughts.

And why, exactly, do you think that?
CorneliusMurdock Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Me? I really thought there were bigger suspects than me. It was a tough decision. Of those still alive that I don't fully trust, you were one of the few that I either hadn't blocked before or hadn't been backed up as havin' a beneficial ability. I mostly wanted to see if you were truthful about not havin' an action. As far as I know, you have been. As for Schnieder's remarks, I'm not sayin' you're wrong but at this point it, I think accusin' somebody and tellin' us you're gonna be quiet again before you give us your evidence isn't helpin' us out all that much. At least stick around and tell us why you're so certain.

Or at least I really hope so.
Bob Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 "Where is Captain Garrison?" the Congressman asks. "He fell overboard, we convicted him as a communist. Surely he is one." Chief Fields says. "Captain Garrison wasn't a communist! You haven't gotten any communists!" he says "But...Valerie and Chief Phelps were confirmed as communists." Ralph says. "By who?" "General Stanley told us." "Of course. Stanley lied, they are still presumably among you." The townspeople looked around incredulously. Here is how to win. For the townspeople, please PM me the following answers: Who are the remaining communists? Who is/was the framer? Who crashed into the shore in Chapter Two? Why were the certain places on the map circled? Here are a few bonus questions: What is Project Wolf? What killed Laura Jefferson? For the communists to win: No more than 4 people must guess you. Good luck, you have 48 hours. It's best not to share your answers here unless you want someone to steal them.
Brickdoctor Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Wow. That's a surprise revelation if there ever was one. I gotta go read over some more chapters, and then I'll be talking to you in private.
CorneliusMurdock Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I thought the inspector's people in Washington told us of Phelps' guilt?
Professor Flitwick Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 No communists? Here was me thinking we were making progress. How long will we have to guess? Any hints on how many communists there are left? Good luck, you have 48 hours. It's best not to share your answers here unless you want someone to steal them. Whoops, I somehow managed to miss that!
Peanuts Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 So the convicted were no commies at all? That's an utter surprise. And we don't even know how many commies are left. Shall we talk about suspects once more or keep it secretly?
CMP Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 So neither Valerie nor Phelps was a commie. And now we have to take a damn quiz to get rid of them. I'm assuming we get one guess. Are we allowed to share our answers in this topic?
Brickdoctor Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Are we allowed to share our answers in this topic? The Congressman said it would be best not to, but he didn't say you couldn't.
CMP Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Oh, and I believe someone tried to kill me last night. I was told my self protection was 'Successful'. That's not happened before. Ralph, I've got my eye on you.
The Legonater Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Just a few points to toss in here. Delores' main argument was that she was against Phelps, and he was a commie. Now he's proven townie. What does that make her?
The Legonater Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Any hints on how many communists there are left? And how many can we guess?
Admiral Ron Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Hm.....someone isn't being completely honest here....and I think I know who. Give me a little bit to figure this out.
Brickdoctor Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Just a few points to toss in here. Delores' main argument was that she was against Phelps, and he was a commie. Now he's proven townie. What does that make her? Well, either a Commie trying to look Townie or a Townie trying not to look Commie by claiming voting for another Commie. In any case, that's a good point. Something to definitely consider for my guesses.
The Legonater Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 And how many can we guess? Blast, I see it now. Searching back through the chapters my memory, right at the beggining the congressman said there were only two commies. Two! So unless they have a recruiter, we should've have known Stanley was lying from the start! Well, that certainly helps. I hope.
