DoubleT Posted April 19, 2004 Author Posted April 19, 2004 Here is some pics of the sets talked about: Majisto's Magical Workshop Imperial Trading Post Renegade Runner All great sets :) And I have had none of them Quote
ApophisV Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 thanks for searching the pics, i for myself was too lazy to do it!!! :$ yeah, i like them all really much.... oh, and i owned long, long ago the very cool space monorail (don't know the set number or name, maybe i will search it...), but i changed from space to castle (and later from castle to pirates) when i was 9 or 10.... Jipay Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 Today I know it's ugly, but I liked it so much my sister offered it to me and this theme was my favorite It was broken during a lunch with my family by one of cousin Quote
ApophisV Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 it was the "futuron" theme... never knew this name when i played with 'em... Quote
Jipay Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 I will die for this set... When I was young, I was watching the weel of fortune on tv during X-Mas and there was this set displayed... I dreamed I could get one but my parents wehre only giving me small sets when I was small... Big sets came later (when I was big <_< ) Quote
ApophisV Posted April 19, 2004 Posted April 19, 2004 unfortunately i lost one of the wheel pieces for the train, so that i could only build one half.... and i lost the instructions... :( but the end of this set came, when there was a BIG space war in my room, where almost EVERY starship, every space station and every vehicle crashed.... wow, THAT was the end of my time with Lego Space themes....i was too lazy to build the models again... and then came the knights and the pirates... ;) and they were MUCH better!!! Quote
DoubleT Posted April 20, 2004 Author Posted April 20, 2004 Space, Knghts, And Pirats was all great themes. Its nice that the Knight theme is back. But the new Jack Pirate sets aint good :( And Star Wars is the Current space theme. And what ever happend to the Legend series? no "new" old set for ages, and of the ones that came out, not a single of them was from Space (n) But the Legend Series is a cool idea, Lego bring back life into it :) Quote
jonfett Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Obviously Im not old enough to remember all of these sets you like but when I was younger I really wanted to get this one set. It was fire station. It had those trans-blue tile things for the garage door (sorry cant remember the part name). It came with a small car, a fire truck and a little helicopter too. I waited ages but I never got it, I got another pirate set instead. I can't remember the name, all I know is that it was a fire station. I cannot seem to find it on Brickset either :( . I will try and find it though! Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 jon, don't know ice planet?!? i got only the small sets from this theme, and i tried to freeze some minifigs into ice cubes, but it didn't look like at the pictures... the ice wasn't clear, because of the chalk in the water.... :loul: your firestation: was it this? or this?!? i think this one fits much better to your description... here is the site, where almost every sets ever released are available: www.brickset.com Quote
jonfett Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 WOW! Thanks ApophisV, the bottom set is the exact one I meant. I really want to buy it but the cheapest on Bricklink is $77!!! :o Although, maybe one day I will be able to buy it, to remember my childhood memories! As for the ice planet sets, I don't really remember them much but I think I might once have owned one of them. A moon crawler or something, Im sure I used to own some of those white wheels. Jon.
