Posted May 7, 201113 yr hi, in this picture http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=techstr04 i see the two parts together but i don't know how they are attached, it looks like there is a attachment hole in the top adn bottom of each part so does an axle or pin need to be put in there? i want to put either this http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6628 or this http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2736 in the top and bottom holes of this http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=techstr02 so that i can mount these http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=57515 Edited May 7, 201113 yr by SNIPE
May 7, 201113 yr Sorry, but there are no top and bottom holes. In this picture you can see a bulge on the top. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=techstr02 There is another bulge on the bottom. These bulges clip into the other piece holding it in place.
May 7, 201113 yr So, you want to find out how this piece is all connected to the chassis: You want to put either of these two pieces ...in the top and bottom holes of ...so you can mount these? I looked on this Bricklink page to see what sets the techstr02 parts were used in, then looked at the inventories for those three sets. A few of those Technic pins that you want to use are shown. The 8475 RC Race Buggy is a good example. On Brickfactory.info , I looked at the individual pages of the Building Instructions to see how the techstr02 parts are connected to the chassis. On Pages 18-19, one can see that the two parts of the techstr04 assembly click together and are held onto the chassis with a Technic Axle and Technic suspension Links:
May 7, 201113 yr Author in that case i better stick with using the spindle inner part and using the 4L universal joint (if it works) (post for that is here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54506&st=15&gopid=983735entry983735 and here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54506&st=0&p=974017&hl=SNIPE&fromsearch=1entry974017) Edited May 7, 201113 yr by SNIPE
