ENeuman Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Is there a way to communicate via email to Lego inc like Research and development department. I never been Denmark to see Lego. Because I have some new idea about parts and set that Lego do not have those set (known as modular building or architectural set). For the set I have about 10 parts. Also I have three sets. That why I need speak to one of Lego representative or Lego Group Ambassadors. Quote
Siegfried Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Official answer; Every year we receive hundreds of thoughtful and imaginative LEGO suggestions from both adults and children. However, it is necessary for us to have a policy in place which prohibits any acceptance of such ideas by us, however unkind this may seem. One of the reasons for this policy relates to the long time- period needed by our product development team to plan, research and develop new products. During this time period, a consumer may submit a similar idea for a new item to our Company, and therefore, believe the new product is due to his or her idea. To avoid confusion with regard to the idea, we must politely decline all outside ideas. You may be interested to know however, that you can introduce your LEGO creations to the online LEGO Club where LEGO enthusiasts like yourself can admire and be inspired by them. If you want to join the LEGO Club please ask your parents if they allow you to be a LEGO Club member. Membership is free. Then go to the LEGO Club and click on the "Sign Up Now" - button to view the terms and conditions and get to the registration form. Make up your own nickname and password and try to remember it so you can log in again later. Once signed in click on "Cool Creations" to view those from other LEGO fans and on "My Creations" to submit your own. It's topic #: 5571-151 in their knowledge base, and this is a standard policy. It avoids people suing them claiming they inspired/created something. Quote
