If only I hadn't just collected the needed parts! I see that Eric went with Blue...I went with something a little darker!

How about just a .ldd file or mocpages of the project so we can built one similar on our own. :cry_happy:

A monster truck with Grazi's design is available until Sunday here. :cry_happy:

I couldn't resist making a new render because I was not happy with the last one I did in 2009:

Sariel's new monster truck looks comparable in size, so I would love to see them sitting side by side.

That's an amazing build... You wouldn't happen to have a video of it in action?

of his "Monster Truck made for the [LowLUG] Allround Car Competition. 4 Wheel drive and steering. Drive by 2 XL-motors, steering by M-motor. Non-working fake V6 engine. Hood and doors can be opened.

On Rebrickable.com, kub0slaw posted this Lego Technic "Monster Truck powered by 2 XL motors and 1 Servo motor". It has a Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf Building Instruction file , or step-by-step printed Building Instructions on his Brickshelf gallery. Kub0slaw wrote that his "MOC [is] powered by 2XL motors (propulsion) and Servo motor (steering), other features:

- 4x4 drive

- return to centre

- front and rear suspension

- easy on/off switch

- you can open the doors

- easy body removal (only 4 pins) and battery access

- PF lights can be easily mounted

- aggressive look ;)

As usual click...to see more photos.

LDD hasn't Servo motor and battery box - you can use either 84599 or 88000-1

2D instruction has all most everything :)

Enjoy" (

I built the Monster truck that kub0slaw made. I used the Geared up XL motors to power the Monster and it moves incredibly fast until the battery box fuse kicks in. And using the servo trips that fuse even quicker. The trucks ability to turn is real sharp. Using the XL motor with all the gears on the Monster truck definitely has the power and subtle speed behind the light design. Building the Truck was fun and a working design was done in half a hour. The instructions are very well made and it don't take much to build. I am very impressed with this Monster truck. It looks Great.

Not the biggest monster, but a bit of a monster it is, also fully functional:

Very clever and should be a reality one day.

Best Horace T,

In reality it's already drove the Dakar race and is build by Jan de Rooy.

I make mine version off it for the Lego technic challence and did not make a complete copy off the orginal one because off the licence, only the idea off it.

I did not realise there was a real version. No doubt Eddie Stobart will have one hauling goods somewhere in the world.

PS: Still getting used to using this forum
