Just a fun little Concert Stage I made up for my first post here. Please feel free to comment and critique. Would love your input.

Not bad stage, I think you a few more band members and some roadies too....oh, yeah a crazied female fan tossing herself at the guitarist. The drum reminds me of the construction guy (I use that term loosely) from the Village People !

Brick On 'LegoCityMann' !

Great build 'LegoCityMann'. I had the same notion as 'Lt' on the drummer reminding me of David Hodo (construction worker) from the Villiage People too  A few more band members and a crowd and you'll have a rocking stage! Keep up the great work and welcome to EB :classic:

Hi mate!

It's a good build for a first post, I particularly appreciate the SNOT pillars on the top and the axes, dragon wings, pirate flags and flames as decorations. I like the small spots too.

However there are some weaknesses (more than the lack of band members and crowd, that doesn't bother me a lot): even for for a two-guys band, more amplifiers are needed!

It needs at least an amplifier for the guitar and a microphone, unless it's an instrumental band. Let's say the 2x2 yellow bricks with the grilles you put on each side of the scene are meant for the public to ear the drums, guitar and voice: they need to be a a little bigger and, why not, attached higher to the pillars.

Hope you didn't take my critique too badly, I suppose that as a new guy, you don't have a lot of parts, just like me :classic:

Check my flickr, I made something similar and I'm rather happy with some details, although I couldn't make a ramp for the lightings.

See ya!

I love the stage... but I think this band is pulling a Milli Vanilli... or at least the drummer is. It looks like he is air drumming more than drumming without any drum sticks.

Oh yes that's something I have forgotten to say! Thanks Meyerc13.

LegoCityMann, you can use screw drivers for the sticks if you have some, that's what I did, it looks OK for the size.

As Decale said. Great MOC though- the lighting gantries are very good. I used to be a lighting technician at a local venue. In actual fact you wouldn't see the colour of the overhead lights unless they were operating, as the colour (at least back in my day) was added in the form of 'lighting gel', a sheet of translucent plastic in front of the lamp, but for a MOC, adding coloured pieces works better- clever actually.

As for being a two piece- well, that is concievable- The White Stripes are a two piece with Meg White on drums (if you can call that drumming), and Jack White on guitar (he can actually play). Given the Village People comments- perhaps this is a gay White Stripes tribute act? 'Meg White' does look a little butch, though.
