Vader Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Ok but they have formed a union and they want an increase in wages and 2 extra ewoks to shoot at per week. :-D ;) Quote
Orlego Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Ok but they have formed a union and they want an increase in wages and 2 extra ewoks to shoot at per week. :-D ;) The Ewoks are a done deal but since the Empire covers all living expenses, I see no need for the wage increase. If they strike I will just replace them with droids or an older version of the clone troopers. They never complained and they never had a union. And if it gets really bad just use the force on them :-D ;) Quote

The Middleman Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 The movies - so far - have been horribly inaccurate. Book One: There was a huge scene in which Harry and Hermione snuck Norbert up to the top of a tower so that Charlie (Ron's older brother) and some of his friends could take him away to live with the other dragons. BIG dropped part. They skipped the poison/potion room before the final challenge. Book Two: Nearly Headless Nick's 'Deathday' party, a funny scene, was eliminated. So were numerous other, small, things. Book Three: The worst. They showed one match - done inaccurately - of the Quidditch season. This is the book in which Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup, the biggest quidditch happening in all the books! Many interesting and funny matches were skipped. Additionally, when Harry's Nimbus was smashed, he got a Firebolt for Christmas, rather than the package at the end of the movie. Finally, they skipped the train scene going back home, where Harry gets a letter from Sirius and Ron gets Pigwidgeon. Quote
Kynok Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Amen to that. If I ever make a movie based on a book, it'll be totaly accurate. I'm looking forward to a movie thaats based on Eragon. Hope theirs going to be one. Quote
