Posted May 13, 201113 yr On MOCpages, Francisco Hartley posted 8 pictures of his Lego Technic Audi R8 -- "So it goes like this. After buying a few Lego Technic sets and learning the new “way of Lego” I decided to make my first MOC with these new bricks. Can’t say it was easy; it took a lot, but I am really pleased with the final result. I think the car looks great !!! Features: -V8 engine -RWD -4speed gear box -Full independent suspension -Steering. It was hard to get all the curves and proportions right, lots of trial and error; but I have no complaints. However, I had tons of fun, this is a huge step for me since my last creation the “old school concept supercar” and I just can hope to continue learning and improving on my skills as a builder, especially on the mechanical features....I think you will agree with me on this one, what Lego Technic is all about. Please, feel free to comment!!! Hope you Enjoy!!!"

May 13, 201113 yr Very nice.... But there is one thing.... We need more colors... Would really love to see some of the supercars in orange, or blue, or green.
May 13, 201113 yr Its a great car, nice build and great looking. Are there also some instructions, for the one you are not so good as you ;o) Edited May 13, 201113 yr by KielDaMan Pls. don't quote entire posts (esp. w/ multiple photos)
May 13, 201113 yr Very nice.... But there is one thing.... We need more colors... Would really love to see some of the supercars in orange, or blue, or green. Probably not possible because not all parts are available in every color. Something i would love to see changed :) Edited May 13, 201113 yr by KielDaMan Removed image from quote. Pls. refrain from doing that.
May 13, 201113 yr Am I seeing it right that the second and third gear have the same gear ratio? Anyhow, great MOC. Looks a lot like official TLC building style
May 13, 201113 yr Just a reminder to some people out here: Pls. do not quote entire posts, especially those that contain multiple images, as it makes browsing of the page difficult. The images can be easily deleted when replying to or quoting a certain post. For everybody's compliance. Thank you.
May 13, 201113 yr Am I seeing it right that the second and third gear have the same gear ratio? Anyhow, great MOC. Looks a lot like official TLC building style I was wondering about that as well since there appears to be bevel gears used in both the top and bottom. That would make 2nd and 3rd the same. Right? Still, Nice Car!
