BrickWild Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 My dad went out shopping and finally bought me this: 8070 Supercar! Back of the box, showing the Hotrod: Box opened: Instructions on cardboard backing, which is excellent because they don't get crushed or distorted during transport! Me looking at the steps & following them carefully! Small elements in breakfast bowls for easier work! Rear axle installed on chassis: Spoiler installed: Steering installed: Engine installed: Framework & aerodymamic panels installed: Wheels installed, and wer'e all done & ready to roll! Spare elements, still wondering where they would go! Doors, hood & spoiler open: Driver side, showing steering wheel, which isn't used to move the steering mechanisim unfortunately! Incredible V8 engine & stiff shock absorbers! Spoiler extended! Overhead view: Headlights for 'lighting the pitch-black highways without streetlights!' Front view: Rear view, showing battery box: Top view: And that's all for now folks! The decals will be added tomorrow! Quote
chaosof99 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Well done. I guess we're having dueling Super Car reviews today :) You are definitely a better photographer than I though. Quote
TechnicJuan Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Blakbird actually had a very extensive review on the 8070 set a few months ago. HERE Quote
BrickWild Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 I now moved the steering wheel to the right, because Australia's & Britain's cars drive on the left! Quote

TechnicJuan Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 ....and? It's really rude posting links like that. Just because a set has been reviewed before doesn't make it taboo for someone to do another... I posted the Link because there already was an EPIC review for this set that perhaps the TC didn't know existed. There isn't any sort of review here in this thread what so ever, only pictures of the set being constructed. I think the thread title is very misleading. Quote
