Redcross Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Gourmet foods modular building. Gino has grown up in this building, his migrant parents spent their whole lives here. Now that they have gone Gino has started to make the place his own, but he still has plenty of work to do. Somethings he just can not bring himself to change. I had great fun with this one. Comments welcome. Edited May 15, 2011 by Redcross Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 AWESOME modular 'redcross', love that coffee machine and those upper levels are simple but you can see the guy's style with the musket pistols on the wall.....but no poster of Scarface ! A bit of SNOT for the second storey with the windows is clever, plus the small back garden is a nice touch. Now I have to come up with something like this in my Mega-MOC....oops, hope I didn't give too much away ! Dam, excellent work 'redcross' and K.O.B. always ! Quote
Cammy Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I love it! The attention to detail is amazing, I love those meat slicer and grinder, and those ceiling fans with the lights are really nice! What a cosy little home Gino has inherited. Quote
Pazoozoo Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) awesome moc! I like all the details in it. The backyard is cute. Edited May 15, 2011 by Pazoozoo Quote
cimddwc Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Wow, lots of great details! Though I have to admit that I'm a bit torn whether I like the front's color combination of tan and bright red or not... Quote
Redcross Posted May 15, 2011 Author Posted May 15, 2011 Wow, lots of great details! Though I have to admit that I'm a bit torn whether I like the front's color combination of tan and bright red or not... The lighting used in these photos has washed out the colour a little it is actually dark red. Thanks for your comments. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 On a second look, a huge to the meat mincer on the wall and smallgoods/chesse slicer that you find in all service deli's around the world ! Keep these fantastic creations.....but I wish people didn't keep on raising that bar. Brick On 'Redcross' ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Very well done modular building Redcross! I really like the tan-dark red color combo and the nicely-detailed interiors. Great job! Quote
Man with a hat Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Wow, this is great. The facade is fantastic. I like it and the combination of red and tan works great here. And there are some nice techniques used. Also the interior is great. There are so many good ideas there; the lamp/fan, the couch, the whole kitchen of course. Basically everything. Quote
L@go Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Also the interior is great. There are so many good ideas there; the lamp/fan, the couch, the whole kitchen of course. Basically everything. Absolutely agree - the interior is my favourite part of this MOC, and I'll add the bed and particularly that meat grinder. Love the detail with the red Technic axle coming out of it :) And the fence around the back yard is lovely! Quote

Keep these fantastic creations.....but I wish people didn't keep on raising that bar. Brick On 'Redcross' ! I think this is why some weren't very impressed by the Pet Shop and found it a bit lack luster, because of our MOCs here. They're just so creative and well thought out. The details are so amazing and intricate, and we've just became spoiled with all this goodness. TLG just can't keep up Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Great job on this build 'RC'. Love the details inside. I really like the design of the ceiling fan, very clever. All around a great modular. Quote

What a cosy little home Gino has inherited. Thanks for all your comments, it seems the meat slicer, grinder and the fans with lights were the favourites. The delight of this hobby is in the details.
