Dreamweb Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Yeah, I know PotC MOCs go to Pirate forum, but these ones aren't pirate-related at all. It's no secret I don't like Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise - I've mentioned it before - and I hate the Jack Sparrow character - it's one of the most annoying movie characters I've ever seen. So... I decided to start this little thread here. Please note that I do this just for fun, I have nothing against PotC fans, or Johnny Depp, and I don't want to offend anyone. This is supposed to be a non-harmful way of me showing my dislike for that fictional character. Also note that I'm really glad LEGO released the PotC theme, as it provides us with great pieces useful for pirate MOCing, not to mention a certain minifigure for me to torment. So let's start with the first picture where we see... ... Mr. Jack Sparrow being shot in my version of a certain famous scene. ^Jack Sparrow in the bathroom from SAW. If you've seen that movie you know this can't be any good. (glad I still have this MOC in one piece) ^Those who are familiar with the original Star Trek will hopefully understand this one. FATALITY! Perhaps the worst fate of all - a Jack Sparrow doll being played with by a young girl who's somewhat disrespectful to toys. That's all for now, more to come! Quote
Vindicare Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 While my opinions of Depps portrayal of Sparrow and the PoTC series are the exact opposite, I love the different pictures of torment and unfortunate utter demise of Sparrow. You REALLY don't like him... I think I like your fatality one best, Sub-Zero is one of my favorite MK characters. Well done MOCs! Quote

As mentioned earlier, I have nothing against Johnny Depp, in fact I liked some of his OTHER roles... Speaking of one of which...
