natelite Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 there's something "new" for exoforce. i cant make it out fully but the japanese said something about the original exoforce maker as vanforce. whoever that is...i would assume is the guy in the picture. Quote

UltraPrime Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 So, there were no 'new' products shown at all? How very disappointing, after all the nice new Transformers shown, I wanted to see more lego!!! Quote

I found this http://minami.typepad.com/blogcabin/2006/0...govanforce.html I think it may be the result of some LEGO Japan contest or something. Not positive, but I'm almost certain it's not a new set...it's a combination of the Grand Titan and Stealth Hunter sets. Quote
snefroe Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 i guess we were all hoping to see the next ucs, the xwing, new sets... in fact , you'd think that lego would take this opportunity to show the world their new sets for 2007 and the rest of 2006... but instead, they show us stuff we already know quite well... not a good marketing strategy if you're asking me Quote
Deinonychus Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 I dunno if their 2007 stuff is ready for the "public" yet. We usually don't roll across leaked pictures for those until the Fall at the earliest...usually winter. But yeah, they could have thrown down with more "Late 2006" stuff like the new Vikings and some Star Wars. Quote
xwingyoda Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Well last year, SW.com communicated the USB and all the january SW sets ONE week BEFORE Comic Con and this year NADA !! I am really amased by suchg idiocy and incompetence :-| *yoda* Quote

I mean, viking's more or less gone; dino is finished, BM is not going to boost sales in fall 2006, so they gotta have something to show us... Quote
mutley777 Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 i can't believe that they did not display the new UCS AT-ST. are they really that stupid? Quote

Something about a collaboration project....? (Read the sentence under the picture.) Quote
optimus-convoy Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Disappointing to see no new Lego... Oh well, just three months or so and we'll get some leaked pics. X-D After i regarded this i found still that: Link. Something about a collaboration project....? (Read the sentence under the picture.) Wow, 8- Quote
UltraPrime Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Great! I'm one of the (few) transformer fans that love his Masterpiece Starscream. Quote

It looks more like a combined model then something new to me. that's why i said "NEW". :-| anyway from the subsequent photos, i gather that if you bought 2 or more exo-force sets you will be given the NEW decals and instructions to make those models. it's a collaboration between lego and that guy to sell more sets. well, i guess we will see decals and instructions soon for sale at exorbitant price from BL. natelite Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 QUOTE: This will be sold....Looks like a japan-only release to me.... yup...agreed with you...that's why i said well, i guess we will see decals and instructions soon for sale at exorbitant price from BL. i am sure some BL members will get their hands on these items somehow and since they are rare (not everyone visit japan or live there) they will be very expensive.
