Does any software exist where you can keep track of what sets you have, wrote notes on them and also load info on your MOC's that work on a PC?

i would love to keep track of this sort of data, if nothing already does this I might look at coding something myself.

I have coded something in the neigbourhood of what you want. What you can do is tell what sets you have and it dowload parts information so you can if you can build the MOC you like with the parts you have, and then get a list of parts you need to buy.

The Notes part isn't that big (right now) just a comment, but that can changed easy. It also downloads the current value (this is why I wrote the software, our insurance company whanted to know the value)

Can this be something?

Yes I will upload it somewere as soon as I can (proberbly in a couple of hours) , but keep in mind it's udner development and from the start a way to get the value of the collection.

Try it say what you want to change and I do it

Brickset, Peeron and Lugnet websites are used by a lot of people to keep track of sets and spare minifigs/parts, but not for MOCs. You have to be online to use the services tho...

I'd think it's a safe bet that tellblom's program requires internet access...

EDIT: as a software developer, I don't like reinventing the wheel... I keep track of my sets at Brickset; they have wonderful features including totaling the MSRP value of your sets, keeping track of wanted sets, telling you your total number of pieces and minifigures.

I realize everyone wants something a little different; I suppose something that keeps a DB of your parts based on your sets would be interesting, but I buy so many parts separately it would still be difficult to keep track of.
