As this moc we'll be presented at Fanabrique2011, I've ask him to complete it.

So, here is the part 2 of paris 1930 (you'll probably have part3 from another member soon ;) )

very nice!!! I like the angled layout.

I do see one minor historical error: in the time era people feared the number 13 and would go out of the way to avoid 13 anywhere. Like hiring an extra person to a meeting to make it 14. And having building numbered something like 12 1/2 rather than 13.

Just a little nitpick. ;)

oh I do not heard about it before. Btw, if you look more closely you'll see that over building do not have any number.

13 is a kind of signature. ;)

Wow! Great creation, the tree, taxi, road curving, the tables and chairs are my favorite parts.

Did you make this? :classic:

All is home made, no copy

the chair and the tables take me 2 hours of time to optimize the littles parts at 100%

the worst was to clip the back of the chair but I succeed !

I'm very happy you notice this details

The trees are also home made. Lights come from the idea of Louloute

and for the cars, here is 2 bonus pics

those chairs and tables of the bistro, are really a masterpiece. too bad the whole diorama is a masterpiece itself!!!

a truly piece of art! and a wonderful idea is to make only the facades... may be useful on the back of some bigger layouts!

great works!

have a nice lego day

Like WOW, I thought part one was AWESOME....still is but the SNOT road is just something else and those vehicles.....'lego-maniac' you seem to have caught the 30's feel in their bodywork. Especially the front end of the truck.

I now wait for part three......VIVA LA LEGO !

The back of the façade will look like this

This pic was just a test made few days ago, I'm looking for good price for printing a poster of 2,00 m X 0,70m

if ever you have links, they will be welcome (printing and stick lots of A3 is not a good idea...)

lightningtiger ; Vive les lego ! ;) and "keeponbricking" would probably looks like : Contiune à "legoter" !

Well done, Lego-Maniac! Everything about it is perfect, even the minifigs' outfits and expressions. I'm sure it will look amazing next to Louloute's, but it's still a masterpiece on it's own. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Like 74louloute's wonderful build, this is an equally impressive creation lego-maniac! From the buildings to the street details, and even the classic car is a great MOC in itself, very impressively-done overall and it's really nice to see this collaborative effort from two master builders. Can't wait for a third part then.

That's really nice! Almost epic, I like it when a setting tells a story. And although I'm not from France, I've been there some times and it's looks really good! Mainly the old-style(forgot the name) pictures really makes it complete! (love the car by the way)! :classic:

J'aime tres bocoup (sp?).

Ces't le vrai Paris, n'est pas?

That is just about the limits of my Schoolboy French, but this is yet another sensasional Parisienne MOC from some talented builders!

It isn't very often that a MOC makes you nostalgic/makes you want to live in a different time period, but you really have succeeded here. I think something that most people ignore in most MOCs are the characters, the minifigures never seem to have a purpose, but in your's everyone seems to have a goal. I love it. The cars, as others have commented, are beautiful, and I really love the tree design as well, it's very unique. The grills where they meet with the sidewalk is awesome,
