Karalora Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 The store in Woodland Hills, CA has some of the new parts now. I got an entire clown (including the trans-red balloon animal) and a chocolate cake guy minus the unique head. Also saw parts for the blue pug costume, which isn't exactly new but I don't think it was there on my previous visit. Quote

Going on Saturday & need to grab the newest ones. No light blue brick costume though? Quote
karrit Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 The Disneyland store had lots of the light blue brick costume last week. Was able to piece together the Clown & cake suit also although I don't know if I have the right heads for the brick suit or cake guy. Since they have everything jumbled up in their BAM tower finding heads isn't easy unless they're obviously more distinctive in color or printing. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 I was at the Oak Park Mall Store in KC yesterday, and they're still only doing prepackaged figures with none of the recent exclusive goodies Quote

The American website has taken down Bricks and Pieces and put up the statement: “We’re making some improvements to our brick buying experience. To keep everything going smoothly, we aren’t selling pieces through Bricks & Pieces while we make our updates. We’ll be back online (and better than ever!) very soon.” Pick a Brick is still the same though, so we’ll see what happens. Quote
jonwil Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 The new Pick-A-Brick service (which combines both the old Pick-A-Brick service and the old Bricks & Pieces service into one thing) should be live in all countries now. Quote
kalexicon Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Well I went by my local Lego store (United States) for the first time in a month or so and I feel like I hit the gold mine compared to my previous trips. Filled up three packages of BAM figures, including four copies of the exclusive dark blue tuxedo top (to make a string quartet). I was also able to find several of the pieces from 2020 and 2021 that I had never run across at my location before, including the lavender corset outfit, the space pug sweater, and two unique colors of balloon dog (red and purple). They even had a medium nougat lasso, which I assume is from a previous wave but which I had personally not been aware was out there. That's everything I'd been looking for except for the denim skirt and the fruit pie. The only downsides were that they didn't have the very newest wave of figures (fairy, chick, magenta bear) yet (though all I really wanted from those was the fairy). I should also mention that while I'm not personally interested in the brick costumes (I have the original red and blue and that's enough for me), I saw none of the teal and only one of the pale blue. It was also nice to have the proper BAM tower back out again for the first time since before Covid. Cases have finally fallen enough in my area for restrictions to lift, and it was very nice to be able to root around the bins and try out different combinations rather than be limited to prepacked figures or even their nice grid reference. I appreciate and support why it had to go away (too many gross kid fingers in there even when there isn't a pandemic going on), but it's nice to have it back. Quote
RichardGoring Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 They look good. I'd like to get three more of those tuxedo torsos, but I've only seen them on pre-built figures near me. Quote
jonwil Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 (edited) Managed to find some new stuff at the Dreamworld LEGO store the other day. Snagged the torso/head/costume for the Cake Suit Guy, the light blue brick costume and matching legs, the nougat lasso, the pink bowler hat, the trans-red balloon dog, a Thor hammer in light bley with printing that I don't recall seeing before, white legs with black feet, light blue legs with black feet, pink Afro, a green torso with brown belts that looks Castle or Ninja and 2 heads I can't really identify. No sign of the latest batch of seasonal parts from what I recall (definitely don't recall seeing the magenta bear or the torso with wings) and I dont think I will ever get parts like the black sausage dog or the lime green printed snowboard (I haven' seen them at any of the 3 LEGO stores I have access to and I doubt I will) although they did have a lot of other neat stuff at the Dreamworld store when I was there. Thankfully our stores here in Oz are (AFAIK) all doing make-your-own for figs and PaB walls. Edited March 26, 2022 by jonwil Quote

Legochaek Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) My local finally got the tower open again!! I saw a ridiculous amount of lasoos, plus the blue ponytail hair, light pink bun hair, pink ‘rocker’ hair, unprinted electric guitar, game controller, yellow chicken body (no matching hat unfortunately), black skeleton mariachi torso, red mariachi hat, sausage dog, guitar, violin, rifle and interestingly, the princess skirt from series 12. I got some cool minifigures from that selection! Is interesting they’re throwing in such old pieces. Edited March 28, 2022 by Lego-fire Quote

A few were accessories, a couple of the 1x2 phones with Jay’s selfie on it from the Ninjago series & one of the tarot cards from the gypsy CMF. Saw a few of the Halloween. Exclusive torso & cat face paint print as well. Quote

Lion King Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Is it true? Lego toasts has been spotted in BAM stations, according to Jay’s Brick Blog? if it’s April’s Fool prank, I would be darn disappointed. Edited April 1, 2022 by DBlegonerd7 Quote

I actually thought that you were referring to 1x1 tiles printed to look like toast! (Which, now that I think of it, I it find odd that LEGO has not made any toast-tiles yet, since it would be a simple print on a very common part). Quote

Oddly, they did once, a very weird print in 2001 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3068bpb0207#T=C&C=33 Quote

Karalora Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 (edited) Woodland Hills, CA continues to get some of the new(er) parts. I found Chocolate Cake Guy's head (love those buck teeth!), the Chinese gown, Year of the Tiger tile, figure skater outfit, the video game controller, violin, red beanie with braids, navy tux torso, black puffy jacket with hot pink sleeves, teal dress top with pink polka dots, tan cowboy hat, mad scientist jacket with green stains, and probably other stuff that just happens to slip my mind atm. There were still plenty of light blue and teal brick costumes, blue pugs, and other stuff. Worth checking out if you're in the LA area and having trouble finding parts from the last year or so. Bugbot20082 Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 I went to the Lego store in london Westfield (Shepard’s bush) this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see the BAM back to normal. They have lots of parts leftover form the pre-built figures: violins, green potion bottle, round 2x2 with fruit flan print, white ninjago game controller handle. They hade lots of ice-skater torso’s and ice skates to go with, and several kinds of duel moulded legs. Very poor selection of wigs/hats though with 90% black hair and the tub was very empty. I got myself 2 side-printed red legs with trainers and a couple of Olympic medals 👍 Quote
