This is a picture found in (i believe) the new Ignition comic as seen at the Comic-Con.

I went to freetheband.com,and it redirects you to lego.com.

Perhaps the ''band'' is the Inika team,as (for commercial purposes) the Piraka.com site was portraying the Piraka as rappers?Maybe the Inika will be portrayed as a band.Lame to me but yeah.

According to GregF, the band pictured is actually a well known band in the US. Speculation directs us towards All American Rejects, Green Day, and Panic! At the Disco.

Free the Band is actually a large promotion competition across the US similar to the search for the mask of liGHT(Cheers Kahg!) that was hosted in 2003. Yeah.

I doubt that by the time that this ''battle'' is on,all 2006 Legends books and Ignition comics will be written...but the REAL silver Ignika sounds cool.But what did you mean by real?That it is really made of silver?That it is human face-sized?That it is a normal Kanohi?

I wonder what exactly this will be...

I hope that it will be some kind of online game,and not some concert or something,where you have to ''battle'' to get tickets,and where the first person to get a ticket gets the grand prize,or something. :-P

Its definately all american regects. i woke up to that comercial and i was like wtm is my radio on?

what would be cool is if it was a real battle of the bands and the all american regects had to wear toa armour and fight greenday who would be dressed up as piraka :-D .

The whole thing is extremely lame (And I hate rock and all the modern music, too, with some exceptions) , but the website and games are nice (if only my computer had the right graphic card to play with Bionicle Heroes demo...).

Well even without reading the end of the topic, I knew it was AAR. Shape matched, and greenday are 3. Not to mentioon there is only AAR to be hired for a bionicle contest. I guess it matches their music and gives them this "serious band" thing they don't have right now :-D
