You forgot his drink......shaken not stirred ! Oh, one piece of advice though, the torso for the female character....yeah, James wouldn't be caught dead with a woman who was totally flat chested....he has his mo-jo too worry about ! Brick On 'Hoexbroe' ! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Another impressive build Hoexbroe! I simply love that 2CV. (Gives me an idea how to make a VW Beetle for myself). Great cars, even better scene, excellent job overall! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Very nice Cars and scene Hoexbroe! The cars are awesome. Quote

Rufus Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Lovely, imaginative vignette from an underrated Bond film, Hoexbroe! I love how you've rendered the 2CV. My favourite quote from that scene: Oh, how I love a ride in the country. Oh, one piece of advice though, the torso for the female character....yeah, James wouldn't be caught dead with a woman who was totally flat chested....he has his mo-jo too worry about ! To be fair, Melina isn't the curviest Bond girl ever Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Brilliant scene Hoexbroe The whole thing is just fantastic. I just love a good chase scene and you've captured it perfectly. Once again nice work and those cars look awesome! Quote
Cecilie Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Awesome 2cv! And a greatly done scene. I can't remember this Bond scene though... Which movie is it from? Quote
Legoless Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Excellent vig! I love your 2CV build. That film was key to the resurgence of the 2CV sales in the UK as it had been withdrawn in favour of the pointless Dyane model, a heavier, uglier 2CV derived car with no added benefits other than a slightly larger engine (0.65 litres) and a sort of hatchback arrangement. Unfortunately Citroen UK felt the need to add fake bullet holes to the rear of UK 2CVs of that time- as if 2CVs couldn't generate holes in the bodywork spontaneously due to rust! Nonetheless, a strange yet wonderful vehicle. The 2CV stunt car in the film actually had a 4 cylinder engine from the Citroen GS/GSA- which was also used in the 2CV derived Ami Super. Quote
Hoexbroe Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) Thanks a lot for the nice comments, my friends! Credit must of course go to .eti for his inspirational 2CV. Edited May 25, 2011 by Hoexbroe Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Great work 'HoexBroe'. Quite a comical scene, love the tree and Citroen. Terrific job Quote
Captain Genaro Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 The second I saw this I thought that it looked familiar. Excellent job on the cars and the tree. The farmers and the speed limit sign are nice details. Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Instantly recognizable! Simply brilliant. Quote
Man with a hat Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Brilliant. I love that scene. Both the movie and yours. Your cars are absolutely amazing. Really cool. It also reminded immediately me of the Luis de Funes movies. Especially that scene with the crazy nun in the 2CV. Ah, memories... Maybe you could do a scene from a Luis de Funes movie. I would love to see that. Quote
