It's stuff like this that makes me want to take up Castle again (I'm primarily a film/liscence themed spacer) but alas it won't happen while I'm building a house for my Town guy. :-P I love the shape, and it just seems to go very well. It has simple, subtle details that I could easily achieve which gives me hope. All in all, this is awesome. I'd love to see more from you! Quote

blueandwhite Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Wow! This is quite an old topic. Still, it's definitely worth a comment. Typically I hate raised baseplate MOCs, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this. Building a traditional keep on that baseplate actually works quite well. It gives the castle an imposing base to work from. Allthough this wouldn't have worked with as well with a green baseplate, the Adventurers one used here is perfect. It's a nice MOC that really captures the feel of an old Norman keep. Donjon on! Quote
