Brilliant conclusion!

Congratulations to the winners! Congratulations to MacK my brilliant scummy pal! Congratulations to all players! (Especially to my murderer... )

Thanks Hinckley for the fantastic game, it was really brilliant.

By the way why on earth did you investigate me, Fuzzylegobricks?

I want to hear more about all of this. What was Pandora's brilliance? How did Night 2 end up with the two of you killing each other? How did you know Alopex was scum? How did Alopex know to target you? Can we see the dead furries board?

We took a guess...

Great hosting Hinck. I really enjoyed the pictures and the narrative. Good to see you put at least as much effort into a Mafia School game as you put into the all-stars furry game.

Way to go town! I really didn't follow the game that actively, but clearly the pro-active attitude of some town players really helped win this.

And... Go Racoons! (Hinck, what do you have against Racoons that you don't include them in your games?)

Thanks, buddy! I didn't even meddle this time.

As for raccoons, it's my least favorite mold. It's just a bear with some fuzzy eyes printed on. I added some Police Academy students to Fabuland Housewives for season 2 and one of them is a raccoon. I hope that's enough for you. :sceptic:

Holy moly Fuzzy!!??! *huh*

You knew MacK was mafia at the beginning of Day 4??!!

I'm going to assume you were trying to confirm town, as everyone at each point looked quite Townie, but you actually investigated two mafia, and investigating Alopex on night one and him being revealed as mafia Day 3 would have suggested you weren't paranoid.

I guess there's more that went on in PM that I obviously don't know, but I'm left wondering why MacK survived after being investigated and found scum?

I wondered this too. He tried to investigate you twice during Day One. I finally explained to him that Night Actions were for Night-time. Fuzzy did learn a lot during this game. I'm excited to see him be a leader in the next Mafia School game he plays.

Cuz he's cool... Get it?

 I was too.

Fortunately, I saw the conversations between Donut, WD, R087n and Fuzzy as I started them a group conversation. They were so convinced that MacK was a townie, they assumed he had been framed or Fuzzy was paranoid. Waterbrick Down, always test those theories before assuming, even if it means killing someone you think is a friend. Waterbrick Down guessed, correctly, several times that MacK was trying to figure out who the cop was. Go with those instincts, WD, and test theories before dismissing them.

I get it.

Just because you're cute now, doesn't mean I won't shoot you again.

Don't you dare... I'm a tough, cute, Mafia fox! Fox_hunting.jpg

Ya'll be a dead pig soon...

I already am a dead piggy :hmpf:

You were there at the time. Admittedly lying in a pool of your own blood.

Well done to everyone who took part especcialy Donut the sole surrvier (that passsed)! Gosh Hinckley was tough on grades compared to Sandy. Congratulations to Hinckley with the sets and a great story. With luck I'll be in the next school, any clues on when it will start?

Thanks for all your help when it came to making decisions about our two strange conundrums during the game.

I noticed the lovers issue early on, I'm just curious, could we hear more about the "two strange conundrums"? Please? :classic:

Donut was not the sole survivor. He's just the only survivor who passed Mafia School.

I guess there's more that went on in PM that I obviously don't know, but I'm left wondering why MacK survived after being investigated and found scum?

Just to shed more details onto this question: MacK survived that day for a combination of these reasons.

1. By Day 3 it was our group (as Hinckley mentioned) vs everyone not in the group (Masked Builder, Sirius Black, and MacK). Masked Builder was the most suspicious of the 3 and we were aware MacK had a mafia reading.

2. MacK had convinced WD that Fuzzy could be paranoid and also suggested the likelihood that the investigator role was not included in this game. WD asked Fuzzy to investigate someone who we know is innocent. The next day, he said he investigated himself. :sadnew:

3. WD in private conversation with me questions Fuzzy's investigation into Marcus. We agreed that Fuzzy is a townie and the investigator because he would be taking a big risk in falsifying his identity.

Also since the conviction was so close to the deadline, we couldn't get enough support to vote against MacK.

Conundrum 1: The lovers. I made Gregor and Gavin lovers only after I switched their character descriptions accidentally. It wouldn't have made a difference as it was just the character paragraph and not the rule or affiliation, but I though it was still somewhat obvious. So, I made them lovers. I decided when I made them lovers that they would be the traditional lovers and one would die if the other did. However, when Dannylonglegs was killed first, on Night One, I felt a little guilty robbing the town of it's doctor on the same night it lost the vigilante. I had the option of keeping Rumble Strike in, but decided, with badboy, that it was best to stick to the plan.

Conundrum 2: Sirius Black's penalty vote. I hadn't thought about what would happen if someone didn't post near the end of the game where the majority votes are fewer. It is usually only in the beginning of a game when people don't post. The penalty vote was enough to get Sirius Black convicted. That would've been fine had the town not reached a conviction, which they didn't do until the last 20 minutes of Day Four. That gave me little time to adjust. Did I make the penalty vote forward to Day Five? Or convict two players on Day Four? Because moving the penalty vote to Day Five would've made an automatic conviction and given the town no choice in the matter, that would've given MacK two back-to-back opportunities to kill and basically been an automatic win. To keep the playing field level, we decided to make two convictions on Day Four.

Interesting stuff, thanks.

And we have you to blame for losing our doctor and everyone dying! (possibly)

But me to thank for not handing a win to MacK. Actually, it looked like the town was going to have a perfect game. Four days, four scum, but MacK is just that much of a smooth talked. We should change his use name to DaddY MacK!

Where's that dead furry lounge?

All's well that ends well though, so apple sauce all round! And a sausage or two for our best furries...

Thanks, but I prefer bananas!

Even though I died on the first day, it was still a fun game to watch! I really thought that Waterbrick Down was scum judging on the fact that I died first, and he struck me as the most logical choice to kill first. Then again, he was blocked, so maybe it was a smarter move killing me. Especially since it also meant the death of my beloved and the town's doctor.

I don't know if it's a mistake or not, but in the grades, I appear to be the only player who played a game previously to have passed without you mentioning that I have played others. (It was Bob_The_Construction_Man's Prohibition Mafia, as can be seen in my signature) It doesn't matter though. :sweet:

I was wondering - how do you guys feel about sharing your character bios in the thread? Hinck, would that be allowed now that the game is over? It'd really make for a very interesting read, at least for me... It's still bugging me to try and find out what the reason for Ro87n's madness was!

P.S.: Judging by your conundrums, it seems you did a great job of ensuring even odds for both sides on the playing field, Hinck. Now if only there had been a way to revive Payton Pig... we'd have turned the Forest upside down as Angry Pig and Bunny

It seems I'm late to the party.

Great game, Hinck! You did a fantastic job of incorporating the game of mafia in the world of Fabuland Housewives. Also, congratulations to the survivors and all who passed! You all played very well, and I look forward to (hopefully) playing alongside some of you guys in the future!

I feel like I learned a lot about mafia strategy from watching the players/students play, so I thank the Mafia School class of May 2011 for that!

Yes, please feel free to post your character bios. As far as Ro87n's craziness, that was just him not knowing how to play. It had nothing to do with his character. He just really didn't know how to play. He thought it was about roleplaying and then he ignored all of the rules and other indicators as to how he should behave. It was really quite ridiculous. Sorry, Ro87n, you were really a handful.

P.S. I will probably never again allow revivals.

Man, that sure was fun, minus the part where I died :hmpf_bad: . I doubt that this game would have been nearly as much good without all of the effort from both the other players and the hosts.

I must compliment Waterbrick Down and MetroiD for their brilliant sting operation, you guys truly had me fooled. I certainly regret not killing one of you guys earlier; especially as seeing that I had a clear shot on day two.

I'm glad that I was able to break the trend of a mafia dying everyday... at least for one day, but Donut and Fuzzy were adamant that I was scum. I believe I did point out to Donut that there was no way that Fuzzy could have investigated on day one, but then he suggested that she could have been a day cop to which I had no defence.

Hinckley, if I may ask why am I called the "GodFurry"? I was an elephant, and as far as I know they don't have much hair let alone fur.

That was an... interesting game

Great hosting, as if the host had been to mafia school himself

The players were a bit erratic in places. It can be challenging to play with players who don't know how to play. They zig when most players would zag, and can really mess a strategy up (ie. the crazy day one vote). Big congratulations to Donut, and to the others who passed

Hats off to all the players. For many of your first or second games, you all did a great job!

Hinckley, that conclusion was a nail-biting boanaza. I honestly had no idea what was going on and who was on what side and everything. It was tons of fun!

And Hinckley, I know you may want to wring his neck, but Hunter Horse is easily, EASILY, my favorite mafia character of all time. Your comedic pictures along with her genuinely insane take on the situation had me laughing. His vote for himself was my favorite thing to ever happen.
