LegoFan03 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) Is that next Winter Village building supposed to be post office? I found the two pictures of it. Credits to Superbagel for posted two pictures. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT 5th July: New photo of the actual set, a find of EB member astra. Edited July 5, 2011 by Zorbas First post updated (5-7-11) with a new set photo
The Yellow Brick Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Nope thats not the set. it was a MOC posted by 'SuperBagel' for the Eurobricks winter village contest (Here) Anyway it's way to early for images.
LegoFan03 Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 I didn't know that we had contest for that. I'm still new to this site. Thanks for let me know.
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 There are lots of contests and events like that here on EB Here is a list of general ones as well.
LEGO AFOL Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Every year there's a winter village set? then we can make a winter village by combining all of them.
Piranha Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) Look at what I found here True or not? let the discussion begin! EDIT: Credit: Brickset.com Edited May 30, 2011 by Macoco
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 (edited) Very interesting, I hope this is a real deal. It does seem like it would be a little strange though because everyone was expecting a winter train station. Has Brickshop ever been wrong? Edited May 30, 2011 by Fuzzylegobricks

WesternOutlaw Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Who was expecting a train station? One can never have enough Train Stations. Interesting news. I'm glad I started the collection a few years ago, and one set per year works out well.
pdxa4 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Wonderful, one set per year would be nice...I like my other two pieces...
Gioppa Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 yes it is true!!the next xmas set after the toys shop and the backery is the post office,it is write on brickset.com
Morten Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Does the 10173 Holiday Train "not count" in this series? Morten
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Actually it was said a few months ago in a whole topic about what it would be and it said it would most likely be a train station, but a post office is cool too. Just like TB said train stations are fun.

Edmond Dantes Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Ja, Just getting ignored again! I tried to give you props...seems as though no one actually read the post though.
IAmWillGibson Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 So I just finished assembling andthen deconstructing the Bakery and Toy Shop [got them on sale, just checking that everything's there, then into storage 'till November] and I'm wondering now what the Post Office will include. I mean, obviously a post office, but the other two have each been composed of three modules [the toy shop with super-tree and Caroler corner; the bakery with tree sellers and ice rink]. So if this is indeed a pattern, what two bonus additions to the Winter Village might the Post Office feature? Potentially a mail delivery vehicle, but I'm sort of hoping for a horse-drawn carriage and a hot cocoa stand. Or maybe a horse-drawn mail delivery carriage? Any other thoughts? A snow fort would be cool, but I can't imagine that'd be easy to make out of few pieces and have it be obvious what it's supposed to be.
GRogall Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 First, Nope thats not it! Second, There is already a topic for this set here! Please close one!
IAmWillGibson Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Nope thats not it! So there is something to go along with the Post Office, eh? Hmmmm. I think because this is the first really hot day of the year [i think it broke 40 outside], this is making me think of wintery things with more eagerness. Ooh! Small hill with tobogganers? A LEGO toboggan would be rad.
Alywin Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) Following the style of the previous Winter Village series sets, I guess we won't get a mail van, but probably just a bicycle, or a motorcycle (the good old 6622 type thing?), or a horse cart...? And there should be a small scene in addition to the building. What type of interesting winter scene can be made outside a post office? Villagers lining up to mail/receive their Christmas gifts??? Looking forward to 10222! Edited June 1, 2011 by Alywin
Nightshroud99 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 'm interested to see what this latest installment gifts us with I'm thinking perhaps somethign to do with Santa in the post office, maybe a phone or just him sneaking in to get letters.

Mr. Elijah Timms Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Trying to remember when we first got pics of the Bakery set last year...? I've actually already put aside money for this one, and look forward to seeing what we're in store for. ALSO, speaking of Winter sets... I took a pair of the Series 4 Garden Gnomes and relieved them of their fishing poles, and lined them up with Santa while holding one of the Toy Shop presents, and they play the part of Santa's workshop elves quite nicely. According to Bricklink, the 41879 short legs single unit piece has never been available in green, but if it were it'd be perfect for completing the gnome-to-workshop elf transformation.
