Shipping prices on Bricklink

@AmperZand What's your country? As it is not clear which way you expect your orders to be delivered. Especially the problem with Netherlands is strange (I had no issues here). Assume not in Europe?

I try to stick to the UK when I order bits (as I'm based in the UK, it's obviously just a million times easier), but I've ordered from the US a few times before with no problems in the slightest, and shipping has always been competitive for me when I have done. Admittedly I haven't for a while, and since Brexit the prices have obviously shifted a bit but I've had a parcel from the US turn up before one from the UK before! I've ordered from France once which was pretty good but my one order from the Netherlands did take forever, and the shipping cost was very poor too.. but he did give me a free Stormtrooper with my order to sweeten the deal so hey!

Back to US orders, I've been lucky with customs too and only had to pay once.

I'll consider Canada next time too based on the recommendation of @AmperZand

I'm in the UK, so in Europe but not the continent. Where there is a choice of international delivery methods, I always go for the cheapest airmail (nowadays called "standard") service. Most countries have a rate for items less than 20mm though in some countries it can be as thick as 30mm.

My experience with BL spans hundreds of orders over more than 10 years.
