So I know this is a bit late, but just about 3 days ago I got myself the 2012 Tie Fighter, and gosh I love that set.

In the last two months I bought several sets after more then a year of no-Lego period:

So, intensive two months but couldn't get past such great offers... I am fortunate to have friends in pretty much every amazon country, so no postage fees either

Just picked up the Republic Gunship for my son. I was lucky to have the local store here pricematch the TRU price of $79.99. Can't wait until 25-Dec so we can line her up next to 7163 and 7676.

Thanks to that I jumped on the 10240 UCS X-Wing as well, didn't want to risk it getting sold out. Can't wait for that to arrive although after reading the review here I'm very afraid of the stickers on this one.

Just follow the instructions carefully and don't peel the sticker off completely so it can't drop and attach somewhere you don't want it to... then rub down the sticker as it sticks to the canopy with kitchen roll or a cloth of some kind and you should be fine.

I've never actually seen anything near this happen in person. I'm pretty sure most places are calm and the news just shows the exceptions...

Anyways, Black Friday around here had absolutely no good Lego deals. Last week with the pre-Black Friday deals it was actually better. Booo...

Thanks for the tip, I managed to get them on fairly straight (as straight as I'm ever gonna get it at least) but 2 air bubbles are caught beneath the transparent part. When looking at it from a distance it kinda looks like it was damaged while flying (which is kinda cool) but it looks a bit nasty up close. I'm considering doing it again but for now I'll just keep it this way. (I got 3 canopy sticker sheets in my box, btw.) It's stored on a high shelf so I won't see the sticker unless I take it down, I'll mostely be looking at the underside.

I passed by the local toy store today, and they had a bunch of 2011 Advent Calendars. So I picked up a few of those :)

Really just getting into Star Wars Lego....as before my Dark Ages there was no such thing :P picking up a lot of the wee sets like the A-Wing, the current X-Wing, a nice version of the Snowspeeder from EBay. Need to get a Falcon though...hmmm

Hmmm, hadn't noticed that before now. I'm not sure myself: looks like a great set to me.

Finally got a Falcon, snapped a picture with my other boxed stuff at the moment, waiting for some free time to pop up before I open them.

Received the following 2 this week from my mom:

Built the Droid Developer Kit yesterday and the Micro Scout appears to be broken, sadly. I might try opening it up to clean the 'insides'. Atleast the seller is willing to help me trying to fix it. I also built the Destroyer Droid today and I can't seem to fold the model the way Lego tells me I should. Will have to try to find more information on that as the manual isn't that clear, imo. :) I was mostly looking forward to the UCS set though, so I saved that one for last and tomorrow it'll finally be built. :)

And from the local Lego store (also yesterday):

.. And now I feel like I should collect as much of the planets as I can. This was my favorite model though, that TIE Bomber looks awesome. :)

I went to my local LEGO shop (Cologne) and asked a store guy if they have the new sets around. He was very keen to help, so I bought 75040 (Grievous Wheelbike for 29.99 EUR) and 75030 (MF Microfighter).

They look great and I hope I can build them soon.

Last days I`ve got hold on another 10221 SSD, another second hand 10188 Death Star( aprox. 250 USD) and a 10144 Sandcrawler for 100 USD, happy now!

The Mandalorian Speeder on a sale. Will most likely scrap it for parts :)

I just picked up a couple of used sets. The AT-AT (4483 from 2003) and the Republic Cruiser (7665) at a fairly good price - however they only came with some of the minifgures :(

But still I'm looking forward to some quality build time. :)
