_epicster_ Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I got 75017 Duel on Geonosis on clearance for $25 Quote
rollermonkey Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Picked up the Cantina and got a very nice bonus surprise in my bag in addition to (yet another) Shredder... Darth Revan I'd been talking to one of the guys for a while and part of the discussion included how generous TLG is with all the giveaways, but that I'd missed out on Revan. Talked about probably 30 things after that... While I was ringing out, he'd gone out back, snagged one from somewhere back there and slipped it into my bag. No matter how many times I deal with TLG, I cannot get over how frickin' awesome their customer service is at every turn. The only company I can think of that is as consistently good is Disney. K-Nut Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Found the entire line of Summer Star Wars sets at my local LEGO Store and picked up the Cantina. Fantastic set. The minifigs are superb. Quote
Jdurg Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Finally made the trip up to the only Lego Store one could call "close" to me. They also had the summer wave in. Having money to spend, I sure as heck did that. Now have the next week or so set for builds. I picked up: 75049 - Snowspeeder. 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 75054 - AT-AT 75055 - ISD 75058 - MTT Quote
neoconagenda Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 With my recent purchase of the Naboo fighter I am now only 5 sets away from having the complete UCS. Still missing Yoda, Maul, ISD, MF, and Snow Speeder... This has taken about 18 months only because I refuse to pay insane prices that are often times "bid up" by the seller. If you are patient you will find an honest auction or a reasonable buy it now price. My collection to date has cost me $2741.93 including shipping fees. My biggest money mistake was buying the Imp Shuttle new and building it. I will eventually get the other sets at a good price but I just dont know if I will ever be willing to pay the stupid costs for the MF... Thats what I get for walking past it all those times in the store and laughing at people that were paying $500 for it... Quote
rollermonkey Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Alderaan / Tantive IV / Rebel Trooper from the planet series. Just need the Snowspeeder now. Quote

Jdurg Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Went and did some BrickLinking (what I should have done the first time) and picked up all the pieces to make another Mini-Fig Stand that I had designed in LDD. It's not exactly an inexpensive creation, but it will end up looking good based upon the small bits I was able to build from the parts I had BrickLinked for the first one. I figure that by the time the Pick-a-Brick orders come in (made two as I realized I had omitted some parts a few days later), I'll have all of the parts I ordered from BrickLink and will simply make a second stand! Not bad at all, especially since I have quite a few minifigures now and need a nice way to display them and store them. Can't wait! Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I just got the X-Wing micro fighter. I actually love this little set! The mini fig has amazing printing, as does the droid head. Just need the body from the advent calender now... Quote
cei Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 75050 - B-Wing 75049 - Snowspeeder Not bothering with the new ISD or AT-AT.I have the previous ISD playset and the new one isn't an improvement, and I have two older AT-ATs (the power function one and the last generation edition). Undecided what to do about the Rebels stuff. I do however still want the Sandcrawler, but it should be around a good while. Edited July 23, 2014 by cei Quote

Aedai Rivin Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Grabbed the 75012 BARC Speeder with Sidecar today at a not so local Walmart, which was pretty nice since it released a year and a half ago in the U.S, and it's nowhere to be found in the 5+ others I've checked. Clone is very nice Obi Wan is ugly as sin Droids are nice Both Speeders are nice. Definitely worth the $15 I spent on it. Quote
TitanArch Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Found 75033 Microfighter ISD at Books A Million for $6.99. That seems to be the regular price; the other five Microfighters were $10.99. Quote
Chills Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Found 75033 Microfighter ISD at Books A Million for $6.99. That seems to be the regular price; the other five Microfighters were $10.99. I found the ISD at BaM for the exact same price. The other micro fighters were also $10.99, so I thought the ISD was a mis-printed price sticker. I guess not. Still a great deal! Quote
