I got 2 Microfighter from Wal-Mart for $7 each. They are The X-Wing & Millennium Falcon.

Edit - I also found a TIE Interceptor @ a Wal-Mart same price as the other two.

I caved in and bought Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter. A beautiful ship, and a good deal at 20% off.

Me to and it was also 20% off. I bought it yesterday and its not only a fun build but also a good looking ship my favorite of all of Anakins starfighters.

Not long back from my site visit today (complete success, thanks for asking), and visited several T"R"U outlets on the way home, looking for the summer releases..

Bolton - Nada.

Leeds - Zilch.

Wakefield - Goose egg.

Meadowhall/Sheffield - Rien . . both at T"R"U and the Lego Store there.

Somewhere near Chesterfield (south of Sheffield) . . . couldn't find the T"R"U but found a Smyths Toystore . . . *Fanfare*

Oh, and BTW . . . I'm about 6'3" and was looking up to photograph the Imperial shuttle and Assault Ship, and I'm standing there wondering WTH could be in that display case nearly a foot above my head?

Brought a MISB UCS SSD off someone on gumtree as a consolation prize for being cheated out of a UCS Falcon by a timewasting bricklink seller and am spending the bank holiday weekend putting it together.

First box is almost done:

Ghost, Phantom, Ezra's Speeder Bike and Republic Commandos all over the weekend. Got the Ghost/Phantom kits with every intention of modding them into something larger. The rest I got for the minifigs.

I just made a little jump to a local store and they had the June Star Wars sets :classic:

I bought the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium. I was tempted to buy all them but I have already so many sets awaiting to be built. I want to build few of them before buying more sets :classic:

I find it interesting that the TRU over there carry Death Stars in stock.

Officially, they release June 1st. It seems a lot of places are stocking them early though.

I can confirm sets are out early, Wal-Mart near me most (not all oddly) of the new wave on shelves. I bought the Gozanti :)

I saw many of them on shelves too. How is that set? I was very tempted to buy it but I have many sets still to build and I'm looking for a way to properly display my entire collection; so I decided to wait until I can find, well, additional "display space" :classic:

size wise it ends up feeling a bit small, but that's really the only complaint I have with it. its a sold build, the interior has space enough to fit all the figures inside, and the Tie release system is honestly quite remarkable given the space available for it. over all as a set I'd rate it about equal to the newest AT-AT.

Well, the microfighters were the bait. Bought several a few weeks back. Then this turned into:

AT-AT

Ezra's speeder set.

Coruscant Police Gunship

Cantina (Target had it on sale for $54.99, couldn't resist)

Death Star Duel (Lego store had it 2 weeks ago)

and finally...

...The DeathStar. (Haven't started building it yet, but can't wait)

Got the Death Star Duel at TRU 2 weeks ago - after he overrode the block on selling it to me, he promptly removed the others from the shelves LOL

Yesterday I got a Republic Gunship (75021) on clearance at a WM near me for $45!!

I find it interesting that the TRU over there carry Death Stars in stock.

That was at the "Smyths" store.

I'm going to another one on Monday (if I can get there in time after work). I was tempted to get one, but I've already hammered my account enough this month (as I am about to elucidate).

I still seem to be in the grip of a pre-mid life crisis, at the moment (. . . a pre-pre MLC, if I'm going to be vain about it) and my recent purchases include:

All 12 Micro fighters

All 12 Planet sets

Calendars from 2011 to 2014

B-Wing 75050

Jedi Scout Fighter 75051

. . . to name a few.

I also have three TIE Advanced Prototypes (two without the minifigs) for a MOC project.

Thanks for the info :classic:

I noticed the "size issue" too but I'm glad to read it's great set. Equal to newest AT-AT! I think I'll put it on the "to buy list" then :classic:

Er, my son picked up the Wookie gunship. It's a nice build and a fair size when finished. Bit like a midi size 're skinned republic gunship. Sorry about the random post, I needed to get to the 'most recent' page without having to trawl through 5 yrs of posts!

Ok, one more (actually two more) purchases today. Walmart has a great deal on The Ghost (75053) at $70 and The Phantom (75048) at $18. Couldn't resist. The ship looks great and the minifigs are awesome. Just started watching Rebels this week so the timing is perfect.

Just bought the Imperial Shuttle online from Tesco Direct, which is a bargain if you have any clubcard vouchers as they are doing the double-up deal on some SW Lego sets . . . including all of today's releases. So you can effectively get these at half price!
