Andyperkins Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Ordered a TFA Millennium Falcon on Thursday from Rakuten and won a UCS Imperial Shuttle last night on eBay :) Quote
Tjahzi Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Bit on a spree again, but glad I waited a bit before buying new sets rightaway: Imperial Shuttle, Flash Speeder, TFA Falcon, Poe's X-Wing, FO transporter and FO Tie Fighter on amazon.de, all with min. -20% off. Can't wait till they're delivered! Quote
JPN366 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Got the Millenium Falcon from the LEGO store and Poe's X-Wing from the LEGO website. Quote
Legocitycustoms Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Last minute haul...Not for sale in shops anymore... Quote
bjarvis Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Rey's Speeder from Phase 1 Star Wars release. My very first Lego purchase. Currently bidding on the other 6 from Phase 1. Really want the Millennium Falcon and especially Kylo Ren's ship. The total Reserved Price in Australia for these 7 is over $800. Just crazy. Got to put some money away for Phase 2 in January. Quote
TheWorldAhead Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 My very first Lego purchase. Yay! I'm assuming you were a Star Wars fan before this? By the way, depending on where you live, why are you bidding on these sets? Pretty much everyone has to pay MSRP at the moment (unless they have an employee discount somewhere), so I would think that it would be cheaper to just buy the sets in stores or online (if you live in the USA, at least...I know other territories have whacked-out prices sometimes) As for myself, I got Rey's Speeder, as well; I love it! It's one of the best $20 sets I've ever built, and I hope I'll like it even more once the movie is released. It fits nicely in a Tatooine MOC setting. Speaking of which, I also got the T-16 Skyhopper, which is probably my second favorite Star Wars set within recent years, the first being the new(ish) Cantina. I also purchased the First Order Snowspeeder, and it was...a disappointment. I would have rather bought several rare OT minifigures on BrickLink for that price. Quote
sk_bricks Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Got my first lot of Star Wars sets recently. sk_bricks Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Nice! Those are beautiful photos; you should do a review the next time you get a set! Thank you kindly. I might look at doing a review nextset I get. I am currently in the process of photographing my current sets for my new instagram. My account name is sk_bricks, if anyone is interested. Truly stunning photos! Could you share a secret on how do you make them? Some pro equipment? Thank you! These ones were quite quick, just to test out my set up. I will post photos of my set up when I get home, but I use a Canon 5D MK2 and some cheap lights I got off ebay. EDIT, here is my set up. My backdrop is pretty ordinary, I am looking to replace it soon. Untitled by Scott Kenny, on Flickr 75075-1: AT-AT by Scott Kenny, on Flickr Edited October 6, 2015 by sk_bricks Quote
r5-j2 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Got this TIE for my birthday (and also 75015;the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ) Quote
JPN366 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I'm hoping since I ordered Poe's X-Wing from the LEGO website on Saturday when they were first back in stock that they have corrected the canopy problem and I will be able to shut it all the way. Quote
H_Solo Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Got the Ewok Village and two Advent calendars from Legoland last sunday... They didn't have the UCS Tie or all Constraction figures in stock... Seems they're letting stock drop for the end of the season.... Quote
DarthBrickus Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) I got Poe's X-Wing, First Order Tie, Kylo Ren's Shuttle, Vader Battlefig, Rey's speeder and AT-AT Microfighter during a crazy discount offer at Kaufhof here in Germany. Edit: It was 15% off every Star Wars item, on top of existing discounts, plus 12€ off every purchase above 75 Euro. Came up to 33%+ off for pretty much all listed above. TheWorldAhead Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Ymmv by store but back in stock. AC You lucky... (and great MOCer ) Did you pay full price? Is this your first/only one? I could never afford it...or so I say. I buy so much "little" stuff that it adds up. Speaking of which, I've added the new Advent Calendar to my collection, and I just Bricklink'd the two Sandtroopers from 9490! Quote
Kman860 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I bought the entire lot of TFA sets first day they were out, plus the grievous and jango constraction sets, not to mention all the hasbro figures..... Quote
Vectormatic Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Picked up the 75078 stormie battle pack yesterday, and it is a truly awesome little set, 4 high quality stormies (and while some of you dislike the frown-troopers, i think they are HUGE upgrade to the mainstay of my army, the rest is most old stormies from 7667), the vehicle holds all of them, making for a good mobile squad, and within the confines of a $15 set, they did a cracking job with the design of the vehicle as well, a very very nice build. The only downside being the stud-shooters obviously, but eh, that is a very minor issue imho Quote
MartinCliffe Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Finally picked up the Tyderium today. Going to wait until next week to build it though as I have some time off. I'll get something small (probably another Microfighters HSD) next week to get the Ep 3 poster, but I'm waiting on the rest of the Ep7 sets for a little while longer. Quote
Vectormatic Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Another AT-DP polybag, those small €4 bags kept staring me in the face when i was in the toystore on a quest to find a present for a friend's kid I can resist the bigger sets when im not in there to buy lego, but €4? its like a toy-store tax :P Quote
TK924 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) Just ordered the 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina and got a super deal. Can't wait to have my T-16 Skyhopper flying over head. Edited October 9, 2015 by TK924 Quote
