Vectormatic Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 My third AT-DP polybag Dont really have the money for bigger sets right now, and i do love me some polybags, it will join its two brothers (and the other imperial microfighters and minifigs) on my Imperial shelf. Quote
fire117 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I got 2 Imperial Troop Transport sets which were on sale for a low price in my local shop. Quote
miles teg Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I had told myself I was only going to collect the UCS sets but was out Saturday and saw these in the flesh which peaked my interest then while browsing the net that evening I saw a local store had an offer on (spend £50 and get £5 voucher / spend £100 and get £10 voucher) so I figured out I could buy 4 sets in different combinations and save £25 off the last one so 30 minutes before they closed I decided to go for it and got the lot so they were very much on bought on impulse. Only problem now is I need the Falcon which is proving hard to track down. Don't know where you are but in this area, Argos and Toymaster both have the New Falcon Quote
jhaelego Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 A third FO transporter, second FO Tie fighter, 4 FO battle packs and Rey's speeder. Quote
BigEl Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Resistance X-Wing Microfighter. The build is mediocre, but that minifigure is top notch. Awesome print and the helmet is fantastic! Quote
kr-lik Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 75104 - Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. already modded it so the wings can go V-like as by but I'm not 100% with this option so I'm thinking about the other one. It's a pretty cool set tho, especially that I went to see the movie again yesterday. JPN366 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Went to Target on my hunt for a Wookiee Gunship and got the Resistance Troop Transporter and the Battle Of Takodana for $10 off each. No Wookiee Gunship though. Takodana was labeled as the Hall Of Mirrors and was priced at $49.99, the Troop Transporter was priced at $59.99. They honored both prices despite acknowledging the mistake. The price scanner in the aisle said $59.99 and $69.99 respectively. Quote
ChiefPie Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Got battle of takodana, tie prototype, resistance troop transport, first order tie fighter polybag and poes xwing poly and tie proto poly. Quote
the_colonel Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) As it wasn't available in our local Lego Store I ordered an UCS Slave One (75060) yesterday ... Edited February 8, 2016 by the_colonel Quote
Andyperkins Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Got a brand new sealed 75105 Millennium Falcon for £100, quite happy with that. Quote
MattSTC Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I have just bought a 7662 MTT Transport for £90 inclusive of postage. missing 4 pieces ( 2 little cheese wedges, 1 corner sloped brick and a long rifle). Plus the guy threw in a 7654 Droid battle pack and two extra droids. The retail for both sets would have been £87.28 (Brickset prices) the guy who sold them sent them by Parcelforce for £12.98 so technically I paid £77.02 which is a tenner cheaper than new in 2008 for a set which can go for £180 on some sites. not bad. Quote
Commander_Rob Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 The four latest battlepacks, at a much-reduced price. Quote
r5-j2 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Obi Wan`s red star fighter; not the best set I`v ever bought , but it`ll look o.k I suppose beside the yellow one. Quote
Junior Shark Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 2 sealed Yularen polys. Who says Craigslist can't be awesome? Quote
Super Hans Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) Carbon Freezing Chamber - £15 Droid Escape Pod - £15 The wife is going to start asking questions soon! Amazon never delivered my order so I complained and they sent out a replacement. On the next day I received both orders and now have two of each for £30 total! :) Just need to figure out the best way to sell them on eBay now, it looks like selling the mini-figures separately is the way to go. Also just picked up the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium for £58 from Flubit. Can't wait to build that. Edited February 11, 2016 by Super Hans Quote

Junior Shark Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 If Amazon genuinely flubbed up, sent him replacement copies of the sets to rectify the situation, but he ended up getting both copies of the sets, that's not stealing. That's good customer service. A Bricks & Pieces order from Lego arrived at my house the other day, and the two 6x12 plates I ordered in light stone grey were delivered in white! I contacted Lego, and they're sending the correct parts. They also told me to keep the pieces I received in error. (Shoutout to Lego's awesome customer service!) Was that stealing? No. Quote
Super Hans Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 It isn't stealing. Once issuing the replacements Amazon state there's no need to return the others if they arrive. Think I'll have to sell the Carbon Freezing Chamber minifigs separately on eBay. I saw the Boba Fett figure go for £10 the other day which seems mad. Quote
Elsior Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Up to watching Episode 7 in mid December 2015, I only collected Technic. Now me and my partner have started to collect Lego Star Wars. She never knew much about Lego nor Star Wars, so pleasantly surprised of her having the same taste. In the last 1.5 months, we've got: Slave 1 UCS TIE Fighter UCS Millennium Falcon (2015) First Order Transporter Kylo Ren's Shuttle Imperial Shuttle Tydirium First Order TIE Fighter Naboo Starfighter Death Star Final Duel AT-AT (2014) Buildable figures: Darth Vader Grievous Kylo Ren Captain Phasma First Order Stormtrooper Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 A few weeks ago my wife and I saw a nearly complete copy of 7190, the first Millennium Falcon (missing most of the minifigure parts plus about four other pieces, but otherwise in nice shape) in a local thrift store. This morning she presented it to me as a Valentine's Day gift! I love her. :) Quote
Vectormatic Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 The Ghost microfighter Im quite impressed, it is quite big for an MF, holds quite a lot of big pieces (a 4x6 plate, four of the 3x1 step pieces), and has what i think would be a pretty popular minifig, quite a nice deal for €10, especially considering the franchise. The toy store didnt have anything else worth bothering with, just the most recent sets at MSRP, kinda meh Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 My Mother offered to but me some sets for my 22nd birthday. I asked her, and she bought me the First Order Transporter. I wanted to buy myself the First Order Battlepack and the Resistance Battlepack, but at checkout she took them from me and paid for them herself too. All I can say is, thanks mom! :) Quote
