JPN366 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I wish Costco in the US stocked LEGO. I'm an executive member Quote
Forresto Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 A local wealthy community has a day where they get rid of items, furniture, old junk and put it on their curb for people to grab. One yard had a two large lego boxes one of which is the latest imperial star destroyer. I open the box and... Its the Wall-E set with a few small bags of unopened bags from the destroyer but no minifigures. Bittersweet. Its a little dissapointing there wasn't the actual set inside but im lucky to get any lego and im certainly happy to have a Wall-E. Quote

Brickbashbosh Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Picked up Advanced Tie v A-wing as Smyths toys in UK have 20% off everything........ Was tempted to nab the Ewok Village but the budget said hell no :(. Hah Quote
Forresto Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 What was the other box? Helms Deep but inside was the pirate corsair ship from return of the king. Still awesome but no figures from the actual set (3 normal orcs) Quote
Japanbuilder Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Not exactly LEGO Star Wars sets per se but I did get the Annual for 2017. Mostly because the figures included would have me spending $83 USD for the Phantom here in Japan. So 1100 yen seems like a good price =) So happy I got these figures now! Though having Ezra in person is shocking because really everyone has been right. He needs some sun. Also why did no one ever say Chopper was that awesome! He is so small!!!! My 2nd fav Star Wars fig so far! Even I am surprised! Go Chopper! Japanbuilder Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I had never seen one of these before! Thanks for sharing pics! No problem. I had never seen one either but I was alerted to it by watching Brickbros UK. Apparently these annuals are a thing in the U.K.. I was so stoked when I got it as it is the only reasonable way for me to get the figures. Totally recommend it to any Rebels fan who needs these figures and can't find the phantom anymore or doesn't want to get the Rebel cruiser set. As an added bonus the games inside really hooked my oldest daughter even though she doesn't speak English. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Now that I think about it, my most recent Lego Star Wars purchase was a Jango Fett LED keychain, if that even counts! Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 Just caved in last night and got myself a Darth Malgus minifig for a relatively decent price. Looking forward to completing my Sith collection soon! Quote
Only Sinner Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 What's an "annual"? Is that the holiday Advent Calendar? I'm asking because I can't see the pictures. Quote
Dexterzol Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Mine was 75053 The Ghost. Got it last night and built it today. Think I'll get the Phantom next month and Ezra's Speeder Bike to get Sabine. Quote

I'm asking because I can't see the pictures. It is a children's activity book. I had never heard of these either. It seems to be a tradition in the U.K. I had bought it from an importer here in Japan it cost me around the equivalent of $11 USD. I can now see the pictures on my browser so the next time you hop on you may be able to see the pictures. If not you can look up the annual on Amazon. It is titled LEGO Star Wars The Official Annual 2017. Quote
Juke Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Went on a splurge. Got the 75059 UCS sandcrawler, 75085 Hailfire droid, 75074 snow speeder(microfighter), 75146 Advent Calender Quote

bountybossk Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Just got back from the LEGO store in Oberhausen. Got all 5 Rogue One sets and the advent calendar. Got the stormtrooper as a bonus and the triple VIP points. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 I ordered over Lego Shop the Imperial Battlepack (the Battlefront one); which is coming with the free Darth Revan figure. It is one of the first Star Wars purchases I have made in a few months now. Also with this purchase I will now have all four Battlepacks that came out this year (it was a great year for them wasn't it?). Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Got the Shadow Troopers battle pack, plus Darth Revan. 5 Dark Side figures all in one. Have I fallen? Quote

JPN366 Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 Went to the LEGO store, got the Hovertank and Revan. Was there when they opened, only a few other people were there. Also got a free Ultimate Lavaria NEXO Knights figure pack. I thought it was funny how compact the box is for the AT-ST. Quote
