Thank you.  I've been waiting almost a year to get Hoth, so I asked for it for my birthday.  Also picked up the A-Wing today, but the 20% discount had ended.

i be keeping an eye out for this as i wouldn't mind this set but don't want to pay full price

Y-Wing Starfighter 75172 came back up on the LEGO Shop so I placed an order. Hoping it ships before next Wednesday when I hit up a LEGO Shop retail location. I'm thinking of using my VIP Points towards the Death Star.

I have a very large lot on its way  (someones childhood collection) that includes the Jango Fett Slave 1 #7153

I also got a mixed lot for $30 that had several complete sets, but also included about 70% of the #7665 republic Cruiser in it.

I think I can bricklink or sub the rest for cheap considering I think it sells for about $200ish . It was a weird lot that one was. The rest of it was friends stuff.

Just made a very impulsive purchase after having a really horrible day.  :sceptic:  I binged on a 150 USD (free shipping) Ultimate Collector Series Slave I on eBay.
The box packaging is supposedly ruined, but I couldn't care less, because all the bags, instructions, and stickers are still sealed.  I just hope I don't regret it...I don't think I will...

The Slave 1 is one of my favourite UCS sets and I think you'll be very impressed; it's a good size, enjoyable to build and looks stunning on display.  The boxart is amazing, but you're obviously not worried about that   The only downsides are that the lower dark-red slopes look a bit unfinished close-up, the greebling on the underside is a little sparse (compared to the actual film model) and there's also a couple of parts that have an annoying habit of falling off randomly!

My local ASDA was having a huge sale with 75-80% off. I normally miss these but todays my lucky day.

75127 ghost  - I love the minifig with this

75099 Reys speeder - I own this already but its a great set and a no brainer at 5 quid

75120 K-2S0 - This will be my first buidable fig. This was really cheap so I bought it to see what all the fuss was about.

75133 x9 Rebel alliance battle packs - Nine packs seems a lot but at £3 a pack I know I'd regret not clearing the shelf. I'm a big army builder and this pack has some great helmets, faces and prints that are very versatile.

In total I got 12 sets for under 40 pounds. It felt like i was stealing as i paid for it!

You will love your UCS Slave 1...I know I do mine. No regrets!

Thank you!  I'm very happy, even if my wallet's not.

Thanks to you, too, sir, for your vote of confidence!  I'm actually not a Boba Fett fan, but the set looks absolutely beautiful.  I do indeed love the boxart, but to me it was worth sacrificing for a $50 (or $70 if you count sales tax) reduction in price.  As a compromise, I set that gorgeous Bespin sunset scene as my desktop background!

[ArchieNov's mod]

Thanks a bunch for reminding me.  I was actually reading through that whole thread last night, and I was shocked to see that it got into a pretty heated discussion with the set designer (or at least someone who claimed to be Hans Burckhard Schlomer).  Probably shouldn't mention that here.  The main thing is, I will be sure to do that MOD as I build the set for the first time.

The AFOL being a generally impatient creature, I waited a bit this time for 2x VIP points and snatched the following.

- 1x Y-wing

- 1x Battle on Scariff

- 4x Imperial Battlepack

- 1x Rebel Battlepack.

I'm gonna check at my local Toys R Us if they've got any A-wing left, even if the price disgusts me a bit.

I'll only have to bricklink Thrawn and I'm gonna be good until summer, meaning the two battlepacks, the selection blows :(

Picked up 2x Imperial Battlepacks to bolster my Stormtroopers. Now going to mod my Assault Hovertank to be a troop carrier. I have an idea to make modular units with different functions  that slot onto the rear deck. The armoured troop pod will have room for a squad of stormtroopers, and will provide covering fire for them from a turret mounted weapon

Snatched up a February issue of the Lego Star Wars magazine for the Ghost mini model. It's pretty cute.

A new Imperial battlepack is also on its way here, for yet more Stormtroopers and Death Troopers.
