I picked up the Phantom II. It was a fun build, but the end result lived up to my fears it would be "to small." I am reserving final judgement though until I can get it together with the rest of my Star Wars sets. I think particularly the figures will stand out in my OT-era collection.

Those Phase 1 clones and FO Stormie are knock-offs, bro.

Oo How did you spot that? Specially the FO one? Man I can easily be swindled I thinks.

I'm not an expert, but I can tell the plastic is ever so slightly translucent, and the printing is off a little bit, and the lines aren't as "hard". That's just what I can see anyway.

Not a "purchase," so I'm totally cheating, but I just officially set aside $200 (plus estimated tax money) for the UCS Snowspeeder!

EDIT: After rewatching Rogue One, I decided to pass on the Snowspeeder and amass a collection of Rogue One sets instead.  We'll see where that takes me.

I bought 2 x AT-ST today. They'll go nicely with my Ewok Village diorama (even if a little on the big side). Big W Australia had them for 35% off, which is pretty crazy.

Yeah, what Fish said. ^

You can also look at the arms, they're much bigger, and boxier. Also not as curvy, which is very noticeable on the clone commander.

The printing is also a lower resolution, and is quite sloppy. Like Fish said, the plastic is sorta translucent. You'll notice the plastic on the fakes is a yellowish color, while the official figs are a nice (pearl? I think that's the word) white.

Here's a good article about how to spot fake figures.

I know. The two Sand Troopers are too.

I never honestly liked the "fake" clones. For that reason I never purchased them, just the normal lego licensed, otherwise a clone army display looks awkward.

I always have my Lego packages delivered at my parent's home, cause that's where my collection is, and I had not been there for a few weeks, so when I arrived there was lots waiting for me that I had ordered

The latest TFA Millenium Falcon. Waited quite a bit before buying it, not really interested in TFA but the design improvements on the Falcon seemed reasonable. Got it from some people, the bags where all still sealed but they messed the box up with tape. I don't care too much, it was quite the bargain at €80 :)

Rogue One Y-wing starfighter from Amazon for €45. Only build the cockpit yet, but quite impressed with it's techniques! Too bad Moroff didn't have more screentime though :/

Got some microfighters too, mostly for minifigs and parts, €6,66 each. (And the seller was really nice and gave me a free Lego magazine with Kanan Jarrus fig, and a donald duck magazine. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one)

2x y-wing, 2x u-wing 1x krennic shuttle 1x tie striker

My Blue Squadron pilot collection is quite increasing... I now have 8. Wonder if there are even that many in the movie :P

I don't necessarily want to feed any addictions but blue squadron (according to visual dictionary) is supposed to be an expanded unit. It has several u-wings, several y -wings (probably) and a lot of X wings. Not all of the pilots are named and identified though

I'm glad I only payed 40$ for Takodana, the figs are really nice but the build is really underwhelming.

Takodana's build is really underwhelming. I feel like they should've waited to release so they could have more time to do it justice and make Maz's Castle and look good. Not just put some cool characters in it and not care about the rest of it.

Bought the set for the figures also. Never even built the "castle" immediately used the parts for my LEGO City instead since it came with so many brick textured pieces.

My dad's leaving for vacation, so he gave me an Easter gift (  ) early: the TIE Striker Microfighter.  It's surprisingly awesome!

Anyway, I am always very thankful for free LEGO sets, and I was particularly happy with this piece, which is new for me!

Ah, I have the visual dictionary, will read up about them in that.

You sure blue squardron flies y-wings? I can't recall if they fly them in the movie, also in Rebels it was made clear that the Y-wings were for Jan Dodanna's unit, who had control of red squardrons

Blue squadron isn't shown to be flying Y-wings in the movie, you're right. In the space battle, all of the y wing parts seem to be mostly gold squadron (although it's possible some ywings in Blue are there, just not explicitly mentioned.) However, "Paril Ritta", one of the pilots on the Blue squadron page in the visual dictionary, is a Y-wing pilot.

Just so I can get more posts out of the way, my most recent purchase was the U-Wing Starfighter off Amazon. One of my first sets in a looonnnggg time. It got me back into building and here I am. The 20 dollar discount was nice too.

Got Battle on Scariff and the Rogue One rebel trooper battle pack discounted at Big W. Pretty happy with them but would not have paid RRP for either ($90AUD and $23AUD respectively)
